  1. Past hour
  2. I still think we need a smarter transfer policy than going after all the best players from the rest of the premier league, if you believe the papers.
  3. According to Juve fans it's a fan aggregator account, not a journalist or someone with any sources at the club. Apparently has a reputation for making stuff up as well.
  4. I have a feeling (maybe a stupid, hopeless one) that Man Utd might at least get a draw against Chelsea. Their defeat to West Ham was so bad and with Amorim pretty much telling his players off to the media, hopefully they atleast don't just lie down on Friday. They have somehow dugged up some big esults against the big teams this season like City and Liverpool away so hopefully they can do something. Spurs are hopeless though. Villa win. Any dropped points by the others, we'd have our tails up for our match on Sunday. Forget top 5, "you can tell him now if you're watching it, we're still fighting for this 2nd place, and he can bring all the light bulbs he wants into the dressing room.and hope he gets them to work, and... and... I'll tell you, honestly, I will love it if we beat them, love it!"
  5. Pope has been fantastic since coming back into the team his form is back big time, I wouldn't let him go at all he's class.
  6. Bastards. Mac Allister levels of poaching that.
  7. Frimpong to Liverpool for just under £30m.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Guehi addresses an immediate need. The other two are cold as well and I'd happily welcome them but an athletic & experienced CB is essential imo (alongside a RWer)
  9. Goalkeepers: I'd keep pope and sell Dubravka. Bring in Trafford as backup for a season while he learns off his holy Ness. Defenders: Flog Targett and bring in Guehi. Maybes kwp in on a free for fullback cover. Midfielders: Flog Longstaff, Willock. Forwards: Flog Wilson, bring in delap as backup.
  10. Was a huge fan of the 02/03 away kit - love the fact you’ve got it in the stash above:
  11. So links to Cunha, Semenyo, Eze If the links aren't a load of crap, then seems we want a left sided, athletic, versatile attacking midfielder then? Though feel like the Cunha link is the only legit one
  12. Don't want Eze after THAT pen against us. That's all it takes.
  13. You'd think these websites would try a bit harder. Who thinks we'd spend £68 million on a player for one of if not the only position we've already got 2 credible/interchangable options, not to mention he's 27 in the summer and only six months younger than Barnes anyway, when we've got glaring needs elsewhere now or will have in 12 months time. Still they've made me bite so they've done their job
  14. The above and Orange goalie top has prompted me to share my haul. It's just a shame they are all children sizes and unwearable.
  15. Like that one, but then I'm a big fan of our current crest which Sunderland tried to copy in basic design. They stuck a couple of lions either side of the badge instead of unicorns I think.
  16. First one is Umbro and the last one is a nod to Northumberland rather than a previous kit, but those are the ones I think could be great.
  17. TRon

    Anthony Gordon

If everyone can get past their despair at his diving or whatever, he did actually cause Chelsea some real headaches in the first half. Looked very lively, and got them panicking a fair bit during that time.
  18. Nah you can't have a 24 team league without play-offs that go at least down to 6th IMO. The play-offs aren't really for the excitement of the play offs themselves (although that is fun), it's to keep the league active from January onwards for the middle of the league. If only the top 3 go up you basically have loads of teams with no chance of going up and no chance of going down for half the season. The play-offs are great for keeping things active, reducing dead rubbers and make the Championship a much more interesting league in general. They have the relegation play off in Germany (16th Vs 3rd) and it is shit. The Bundesliga team always wins (12 out of 15 occasions I believe since it was introduced in 2009) because they're much stronger. It would be even worse in the PL because of the financial gulf - you'd basically just be making it even harder for teams to go up and reduce it to effectively two up/two down.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

If we were to only sign one player from Palace would people rather: Guehi, Eze or Wharton
  20. Eze’s great but spending big money on potentially another left winger seems pretty silly.
  21. No doubt covered in previous posts but I've been a voyeur of this thread for some time and the nosey bastard that I am - what's your connection/inside scoop to all this? I don't doubt your wisdom - I'm just intrigued by your Oracle status
