Fair play mate, I think its unfair to judge a players injury record over 2 seasons only when he has been consistent in all bar 1 season at the club. Especially when the bulk of the games missed were in one season. Might as well say Rodri has been injured a lot for Man City these last 2 seasons aye, plus he is also getting older. Isak is young enough that he’ll always be worth 150m+. He isn’t just a purple patch. just keep him until he gets stroppy and then sell him to one of the Spanish giants for the same amount or more that Liverpool offer.

It’s also easy to forget that he’s got older. Especially when you consider his build and playing style. I hope I’m wrong but can see him struggling with fitness to a degree in the coming seasons.

Joelinton will always play the better teams when fit IMO, but I think against worse teams sometimes it could be worth sacrificing one of our midfield 3 for a bit more ability on the ball. Joelinton can play out wide as well though so he’ll get plenty of game time no matter what.

Yeah, if you cherry-pick two seasons to make a point, especially when 20 plus games are in one season, you're right. But if you're being fair, you should look at the season with his serious injury separately. Plus, half the team was injured in 23/24. My point is, Big Joe averages 30 EPL games a season, so saying he's rarely fit is wrong. But I do need someone to cover for him, you know, for when he's rotated or suspended or has a knock.

Missing almost 30 games in two seasons is a lot. And this season he probably has even played when not fit.

I think their season is still running, and this will be a big tournament for them. European clubs are finished for season and most players don’t want to be there. My money would be on a Brazilian team to win the whole thing.
