You’re not the only one.

As with anything Newcastle I'm a pessimist, just look at what happened last season with Man Utd winning the FA cup. With our remaining fixtures i can see this going tits up, Forest losing tonight might calm my nerves a bit.

Two of which clearly weren’t penalties so I’ve no idea why you’re bringing them up. We didn’t force a proper save from their keeper till the 96th minute. Nothing jammy about them getting a point in that context. We simply couldn’t create enough chances against them.

Sadly, when some people say that we are going to be in a title race next year or whatever, these kind of games are a reality check. We just don't have the quality that top teams have to win games like these we are controlling. Sometimes yes, but nowhere near often enough. Long journey and the squad will be million miles better in 3-4 years time. Just like it is already million miles better than when Eddie started.

What was that comment about Bruno? ............. not allowed on here.

Said in the match thread but Brighton defended their box really well. A couple of times he got free behind their line but there were 3 defenders in the 6 yard box and lines cut off to midfielders making bursts into the box. Usually when Murphy has that much space it looks inevitable that he'll find Isak but yesterday he was having to just fire into bodies and hope.
-
We have hammered Brighton three times this season and have ended up with a draw for some inexplicable reason. I mean we actually were awarded THREE penalties yesterday and managed to claim one of them. Brighton are jammy as fuck, simple as.

it's just a licensing deal where they use the Chelsea brand on apartments. why? who knows but that's all it is.
-
DAMAC are absolutely huge as well, why would they want to ruin their rep for some Chelsea nonsense?
-
Coventry will absolutely do these lot and the seethe will be fantastic

He's been shite for 5 months

No English ref will let Palmer get roughed up. Won't be able to touch him without risk of a yellow card. This monk fuck will be buying fouls all over the place.
-
I thought he was fine today. If you want to moan at someone Tonali had a bit of a shocker today.
-
Targets putting in a strong tackle on a kid when they're getting thumped and trying to get the crowd going, and pretty much bullying a bloke who was likely getting pelters all game, and who despite being shite, was 10x the player O'Nien ever will be.

Massive Homer (not homosexual nor yellow cartoon character) comes alive during midweek lights.

Don't know if the last three years has passed everyone by, but PIF won't do anything like this. They've shown no inclination to test the rules on any level - and there is a good chance that they agreed not to do this in order to get the takeover approved. Complete non-starter - the loophole will end up getting closed in any case.

He’ll be good v Chelsea at home.

I feel like he's got something big in him for the end of this season. I thought today might be the day. But I'm surprised at what people have said here, I didn't think he was very good at all. More in keeping with his early season form - as were most of the team.

This sounds naive and casual, but I think simply limit Cole Palmer, and they're quite shit, teams give him so much freedom, he needs roughing up, and Man marked, Joelinton would hammer him. -
We've got an excellent manager but we don't have a shit squad - we've got a first rate first XI and a handful of good back ups.
-
Had today down as a loss but thought Brighton looked awful. Even their goal was down to poor defending (and a deflection) rather than good play. So frustrating we couldn't take advantage. Easy to say but Gordon on earlier wins us that game I think. They were there for the taking.

So many times we got to the byline today and I thought we should have just hit it across goal but we either pulled it back or floated it to the back post. Think Murphy did it the most first half and then Barnes right after kick off in second half.
