This is what I was thinking as well. I would even consider it for home fixtures against potential banana skins like Chelsea.
-
Says a lot about where his mind was at here when he can't remember managing Duncan Ferguson given it was his most expensive signing here.
-
Hope so too, 18 goals mostly from the wing is absolutely elite.
-
That was Bruno, i think.
-
It took almost 2 1/2 years after gullit left to get CL.
-
Shame the old man only went on to bag another 120 goals after gullit left. Yes his mobility had went after his injuries but Robson worked on that straight away by buying Bellamy to do his running.
-
Hope these links to Mbeumo are right and I hope we show the ambition to go for it. Absolutely ideal for us and takes us towards a title battle imo
-
Looks infinitely better than the tartan abominations we had before.

Went to watch Thornaby V Yarm/Eaglescliffe on Tuesday as daughter's boyfriend has signed for Thornaby. They played really well - heading to the play-off final at Jarrow on Saturday.
-
It’s incredibly subtle, and really lovely in person.
-
Close. The black stripe on the shoulder should extend down the arm. And the side panels have a mixture of black and white stripes on them that follow the body contour. And make the bubbles less obvious. They’re extremely subtle. Then it’s pretty much there.
-
This bloke is so bored he starts a thread about green fly only to make sure he gets in a dig at Newcastle. Absolutely fucking pathetic. Not obsessed though, definitely not.
-
Number 6 was astonishing we literally got champions league the season after he left and got relegated 10 years later in fairness with no4 I think he just confused. So weird no one pulled him up on it considering 2 weeks ago Ferguson was on the podcast talking about the Sunderland game the only push back was from Ian Wright saying Shearer scored 5 in a game after he left so he obviously still had it in him
-
I hope not..If we want to go to the very next level then we need players that are better and more technical in general play. Not just players who have their strengths in transitions alone, more or less.
-
If it’s anything remotely like this with some weird bubble design, which (surprise surprise) other adidas clubs have then it’ll be fuckin awful
-
The team directly below his (Kofane) club in the league (Cordoba) features one of Zinedine Zidane's sons in midfield. His other kid is a goalkeeper in the same league (Granada). That is all.

Joelinton - To Miss Rest of Season with Knee Injury (Hope)
PauloGeordio replied to Stifler's topic in Football
Didn't we beat Arsenal at their place without big Joe? It proves we can beat other teams without him. Especially at St James' (ideally he'd be in the team, but I'm not writing us off just yet without him). -
Elanga seems to be very good mates with Osula and Isak, I wonder if we revisit that.
-
Well, left footed CBs (almost) always play on the left. Playing one on the right would probably take the player out of his comfort zone.
-
sure SBR was trying to offload shearer towards the end but freddie was too much of a fanboy
-
Have plenty of time for all these young players being signed for a few quid. A few are bound to hit it big aka Minteh
-
Does it really matter? There doesn't seem to be the same expectation for central midfield, or concern about right footed central defenders playing together.
-
Doubtful as each relegated team will get the parachute payments... I do have a vague memory of the payments diminishing over 3 seasons and if you are promoted back within that time frame then the remaining monies is shared to the other championship clubs but could be very wrong.

Aye, as long as we've both Botman and Burn I'd be amazed if we go for another left footed CB.
