His finishing is terrible. It’s quite a feat how regularly he misses the same shot into the far corner. He must bury them in training.

Don't think he was atrocious, but he was poor. I don't like how he has the LW spot nailed down as his despite how well Barnes has played there whilst he was out, nor do I like how he seems to be untouchable regarding being substituted.

Maybe me, but I've felt like he's not gone in the outside as much as he did last season which makes him a bit easier to defend against. As for the stop, drop and roll, really wish he'd cut that out.

yeah, I don’t think Gordon has even good technique or finishing. He’s about passing and movement. He’d have more than 6 goals this season if he was good at any of that stuff.

We need to do what we do. Work the ball round the sides keep the pressure on and eventually we score at home. Obviously need to be wary of the counter as N'Diaye, McNeil and Beto are all quick, plus Doucoure can be a handful at times. But we normally start fast at home and our record is strong when we get ahead.

Not sure I agree with technique and finishing. I think it is very up and down for someone that plays that position. I do take your other points, though. It was like last season he played on instinct and emotion. This season he is over-thinking it. I’ve said on here loads he has started slowing down his play and trying to survey the pitch before making a decision. But it rarely works with him. He isn’t an elite playmaker who is going to pick a pass. But he is elite at isolating players and running at them with the ball. So more of that, please.

Disappointing to have lost today but we've put ourselves in an amazing position: win one home game against a mid-table side and CL is ours. We missed some opportunities in consecutive away games to put it to bed, but you take this all season long.

Absolutely love ‘in my point of the view’. Interesting that he thinks one of the reasons he’s captain is because of how ambitious he is to win things when speaking to staff and players. His value goes way beyond a fantasy number some think will allow us to buy someone else. He’s an elite player, he’s a winner, and he wants to play for us for ages

Even the way he just feeds the ball forward to Bruno and Tonali instead of constantly moving it sideways adds so much to our play. He’s class.

Gordon has bags of everything, pace, intelligence, technique, finishing. I think sometimes being so thoughtful and self aware isn’t good for him, maybe leads to him dwelling on things and being critical. Hopefully he can come back firing next season because at his best he’s a really top player.

I think we'll start quickly and score early and that'll settle us down. We eventually get the second, they kinda give up and we score one more to seal it 3-0

Definitely should just remain on the left, give him the maximum time possible to find us a goal.

Willock’s got to go I reckon, or the coaches have to do some serious dedicated work with him. Possibly needs a Joelinton-style transformation either into a CM or a forward. At the moment he’s neither.
