One point changes it from 1/4 to 1/50? Shows how close it is and makes me think of the little things that would have gotten us one or two extra points. Gordon’s horrendous penalty against Everton away being the main one.
-
They can do what they want, the players coming in are internationals, they've don't nothing wrong in reality. Whether we, Forest, Villa or Man City like it. They've won the league, and have earnt the right to rotate if they see fit to.
-
Thank god for the penalty. Felt like we could’ve played into the night and not score. Our performances seem streaky and we’ve not been playing particularly well for a while. Or at least not as well as we can. I'm not sure of the maxim, good teams put in sub standard performances and still pick up points…..I think good teams don’t put in streaks of sub standard performances tbh. We were less than the some of our parts. Not sure why. Brighton were not much good at all but we didn’t look like finding the cutting edge needed to open them up properly. Still, we’re still very much a project in progress. Hope we get CL for the budget and see if we can build some more next year.
-
True, but if we lose then we probably haven’t been good enough this season for CL.
-
With both Lavia and Caicedo now fit and featuring in their midfield, while we will be missing Joelinton, this is going to be a very big test. Howe may have to come up with a clever tactical switch to try and catch them off guard. Otherwise, could end up being a very disappointing day.

Desperate to beat these. Even more so after today. Awful club
-
Unreal finesse winner from Antony
-
I think we are really close to the next level, it’s a final pass here and there in the final third, or a bit of pace at the back. Hope we are allowed to spend some money in the summer
-
The annoying thing is that he'll bring them back for the Arsenal game at Anfield and they'll be tuned in. Cunts
-
I'm worried that chelsea if we lose to chelsea we will go into the last match on the beach just like Liverpool this match. Meaning that forest will beat them and go above us.

I've done the maths. Thanks to the liverpool we need to either win or draw this game. Chelsea cannot win this match and if they do we will have to make sure the goal difference isnt bad. As they will beat Manchester United and go into the final match with nothing to play for before doing into the conference league final. The problem with this is that if forest win they will go above us and get ucl. With 70 points. It will be down to GD. This outcome have us winning arsenal away from home and Everton but I can't see us getting that many goals if we do. -
Burn said in his post match interview that the tactic wasn't to press Brighton as much as we usually do
-
His decline in form can be traced back to Gordon coming out of the starting Xl. He’s still had some moments since then as world class players do, but he’s looked subdued and starved of service. We’re not playing on the transitions effectively enough which is where he’s so dangerous.
-
Howe got asked specifically about Isak’s form in the press conference and he said we were finding it hard to get bring him into games (as in pass to him, creating chances etc) and mentioned he’d only returned to full training this week after a few minor injuries. I’m guessing another part of the answer is he needs a rest but we haven’t got anyone who is even close to him so Howe can’t say that out loud. This is what the “Delap won’t even play!” lot need to remember. It’s very different times but we already had Ferdinand and Asprilla when we signed Shearer.

Well being minus 10 points at the start of the season by keeping him would have been worse I guess. -
