Nobody was committing anyone to make space either with the ball or with a run in a space until the second half and the games/subs opened it up a bit. First penalty shout, there was still a touch inside the box, the foul continued into the box. It’s a penalty. Second one, still slight contact and the ‘intent’ was there which is what they use as a reason to give penalties all the time. They kept fouling in the middle of the park, and constantly got away with it. They should have been down to 10 men as well. Has Pawson ever had a good game as a referee?
