He went off injured against us in the Cup, assume still carrying that but he's hardly figured for them.
-
It does seem strange how him and Marveaux have both vanished
-
I've got a bit of a soft spot for Sherwood from his Blackburn days, think he'll do a decent job there

Newcastle United vs Stoke City - 26/12/13 @ 15:00 (No UK TV)

I think he'll go with Shola for the physical presence against Stoke's big lads -
I liked Cabaye's interview on SSN when he said Moussa loves that little pass so he knew exactly how and when to make the run. You'd think we have coaching sessions!
-
Boom nice one Cabaye. Let's push for a 2nd and kill it off
-
Love Becks tbh, got some serious man love for him.

This is the kind of game we always lose. Not confident.

Speaking of Mourinho, plenty of other Chelsea managers have been sacked for less. They've been really poor this season, especially in the cups yet remain in touching distance at the top. This is probably his biggest ever challenge. At Chelsea, Inter and Madrid he inherited class teams that needed a bit of tweaking and direction. His transfer record is poor so it will be interesting how it works out

I loved their announcement the other day about being threatened violence

Too many people miss this point. In any other job, if you were decent at it but an absolute twat in the office, falling out with people, blaming others, doing PowerPoint presentations with made up words etc....you'd be out of a job too. I know football operates differently to other businesses but too many are getting fixated on win percentage figures and other pointless stats. If the bloke isn't as he seemed in interview then why shouldn't they get rid of him? I dislike Dave Whelan intensely but I quite liked it when he sacked Coyle and just said that he didn't 'get' the club in the way they thought he did and people didn't get on with him. Not all about results
-
I can't see Norwich sacking Hughton unless they get properly sucked into the relegation zone. Current 5 points clear, would be pretty harsh. AVB surely is next to go. £100m on players and they lose 6-0 and 5-0 to their top 4 "rivals"
-
Every team we play seems to target him as the weak link these days
-
Shakhtar by far the best team here. Man Utd look totally flat and devoid of ideas
-
Like every other player who does well at Leeds
-
I absolutely loved that headed clearance when he ended up off the pitch. Fucking nailed it
-
He's got rid of the silly bookings and injuries and showing the form of 2-3 years ago. Quality yesterday and as they said on MOTD just the 'type' of player Man Utd are crying out for
-
8 points is fucking pitiful by the way. They'll surely beat Derby's 11 point record though
-
Does he have much competition at right back for France by the way?
-
Annoying me how people are staying Moyes won't be sacked because "that's not how Man Utd do things". Basing it on Ferguson being given time 25 years ago. It's like saying Mike Ashley won't do something just because Gordon McKeag didn't in the 80s. Ridiculous. Who is to know how the Glazers will react? They've been lucky they've had an amazing manager all these years so the notion of sacking him was never relevant, not because it's not the "United Way". Money talks and if they get cut adrift of the top 4 then who knows.

Agree. I don't think anyone could have watched those performances last season and thought he was going to turn out well. Can we not change our minds these days or does one opinion have to last forever?!
-
Great game again today. In your face Steven Taylor.
-
Loved how far forward he played!
-
Well, except him.
