    Papiss Cissé

I would say have curried goat, but the fact of the matter is that he never ate the curried goat himself.
  2. Thanks Beren for heeding my thoughts. Roy Keane... I must admit I wasn't aware of how good he was until 1998 or 1999. Before then I thought he was back up to Nicky Butt. But then again I was 13 at the time. Since then he has established himself as a top player in my mind, the real leader of Man Utd on the pitch and there is no doubt that they miss him still.

Proven to have been assaulted beforehand in the night in question. Wound up and pushed two police away from him. Probably a harsh punishment tbh.
  4. If all the players are going to be uncontroversial foreign flair types i am going to create my own spin off.
  5. he played well. any criticism would be about defensive positioning. balls came in from the right a few times because he got too close to perch so was too far away when balls got hit out wide.

How many more goals in Europe than Sunderland is it now?

    Shola Ameobi

I am thinking about his future retirement with a tear in my eye.

I love the amazingness, followed by the pass miles overhit, followed by the amazingness, followed by the stepovers and tripping over the ball.
  9. I love Europe. Shola our best player. Closely followed by Obertan.

    Fraser Forster

who was the last academy product to be called up to the England squad? Taylor? well done to Fraser but well done also to Paul Barron for developing two excellent international level goalkeepers.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

And against Spurs Chelsea Villa Everton Norwich which is hardly like he has been doing it against poor teams. i wonder how his shooting passing tackling and interceptions stack up against other wingers
  12. fergie won't play his first team will he? our uefa team with a mix of first steamers and reserves might be more cohesive having played together more this season
  13. They should have a scrap of paper on the dressing room wall. Pecking order that applies come hell or high water, or poor form, or egos, or being nice to one another. Shambles. Pardew should really enforce his authority on this one. 1. Shola 2. Ben Arfa 3. Cabaye 4. Ba 5. Cisse agree though would probably have cisse lower than that. i have seen Taylor take some good penalties for the 721s and I'm sure Krul could take penalties
  14. hope there isn't the same inquest in the dressing room. finish the match then talk about it. apparently Jonas asked Ben Arfa to give up the penalty.
  15. he's been poor up to today this season but he is actually having a decent game today so far.

    Alan Pardew

Patrick Kluivert has been .slagging Pardew off today. wind his neck in.
  17. Well Patrick Kluivert has had his say. now let's see what GHoeberX has to say about it all.

    Hillsborough

it would seem that the perception of football fans in particular liverpool fans probably led to the mistaken belief that this was another hooliganism incident. the way the stadium was set up, the way the police reverted to hooliganism prevention protocols, and the way the tragedy was investigated by police and media shows that while completely in the wrong, people did at the time believe it was the fans fault.

    Hillsborough

The families deserve their justice, a lot of things went wrong as shown in mcgoverns documentary. however other Liverpool fans have to stop using the hillsborough victims as a stick to beat people with whenever they hear anything they don't like. also when shouting out against conspiracy by politicians police and the media Liverpool fans must remember that their own behaviour in the 80s made the mud stick and perhaps prevented quick action and or justice.
  20. And that back problem could be caused by his hair! I'm sure our physios and doctors know more than you do. Gerrard's back problem went unnoticed for 5 years. Yes they know more, but it doesn't mean they don't miss things or get things wrong.
  21. This is eerily becoming as I described it would last season as a worst case scenario. He could have a problem with his back. This would strain his leg muscles so he keeps getting thigh/groin/hamsting strains, eventually becoming minor tears and then major tears. Like with Gerrard only they spotted the problem too late and despite taking the six months out needed to have his back fixed, he has remained susceptible to these injuries recurring.
  22. I am surprised that no one has picked up on comments from Pardew about players being lied to by agents, and now feeling disappointed about still being here, affecting their performances.
