If the intial asking price we couldn't meet was due to likely expendature elsewhere this window this is pretty stingent, astute business. Whether we have the money next summer is another matter but by not paying now, we might fund a better player(s) coming permenantly this window rather than falling to 3rd/4th choices and permenantly signing Kennedy.
