  1. http://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/stories/ac-milan-09-10-adidas-football-shirt.jpg Milan's new one. Could ours look similar? http://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/stories/bayern-munchen-09-10-home-football-shirt.jpg And maybe our away will have something like this? http://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/stories/chelsea-09-10-home-adidas-football-shirt.jpg What is everyone's opinion on that new collar style, Chelski have it too...
  2. Be funnier watching Viduka Vs Geremi though. JFK could defeat them both
  3. Is a scoreboard a requirement for UEFA finals? Just curious....
  4. If this is true, than I wish all the best for Joe and his family. Have to feel for someone and their family having to go through that. And again if this is true - the man needs to leave management, better his health and spend time with his family. There is not one good reason for him to be working in football with this sort of health. On the Newcastle side, if this is true - he has to go, Ashley/Llambas need to quickly appoint a caretaker in the form of Hughton/Calderwood or Wise.

    Aston Villa

While im happy there is another club challenging, I can't help but me completely jelous of their success. That being said, we beat that lot at St. James' and Oba was sublime, so as of right now. I am okay with Villa!
  6. I agree. Something about that interview really showed to me that he just wants to get on with it, play football and work himself up to the first team. His goals showed excellent technique, he looked fairly quick as well.
  7. Just watched his post-match interview from the reserve match... Think its plain to see that he has no problem playing at the reserve level or coming on for a few minutes - hes used to that in Spain from playing at lower levels and not complaining. I recall an interview where he said the same, he just wants to play, and will do waht it takes to play. Liked what I saw from the highlights of the reserve match, he seems to be gianing more confidence and that was evident with the way he was moving the ball around with his feet, versus how hesitant he was when watching him play earlier in teh season. His goals were taken superbly, I hope he gets a chance to play for the first team soon. Cracking attitude from the interview, if you ask me.
  8. Feel for Xisco. He's got to be confused to no end. Surely he is better than Shola? I've seen Shola hoof so many chances this year that I could have bagged.
  9. He looks like a proper footballer.
  10. Already there before you my friend.
  11. How he retains possession so often when being challenged is beyond me. I haven't seen someone so good at close control and then BAM hes off running past someone. Best example is that he will get a pass, and a defender will come from behind or on the side, he will control it, quick feet and hes pushed the ball forward and hes away from his man. I thinnk I've noticed he loves going to the byline and cutting the ball back to pass across the face of the goal. Something which worked much better when Oba and Owen were up top.
  12. I'd rejoice if we could get Viduka for rest of the season...
  13. I could watch that 5-0 highlight everyday...can nearly bring you to tears how much we've changed
  14. Somebody here posted in the Colo thread that he would get hurt and ruin his consecutive game streak, i hope that person never jinx's again. Hate seeing people say "you know player x will get hurt next match" But doesnt physioroom just update who took a knock and came off? For all we know, he could be fine now?
  15. Even the Setanta commentators were saying something like "Look at Nolan, taking the lead of that huddle" during the team's prematch huddle, if remember correctly it was Nolan who was talking followed by Stevie Tayls and Harps. That alone had me proud to see him playing - Nolan just signed 2 days prior and was already taking up an assumed role as a vocal leader. That speaks volumes on the type of player he is.
  16. Romario, out of retirement, thats what Wise was doing in Brazil.

Had Rooney done the same it would be called a daft, cheeky CF move.

Agree 100% For all his flaws, you can never question his heart. He has never looked like he didn't care. And for that, I will always respect him.
