  1. Wish there was someone on the bench that could replace Ritchie, think he's way off today.
  2. Deans a cunt, I nearly said after we scored from our freekick that Dean would make sure that is leveled up.
  3. Must be worth hundreds of billions. Seriously though, impressive. £1.5m
  4. The most expensive player in world football in 1992, the year we signed Rob for £700,000, was Gianluca Vialli. Juventus yet again broke the transfer record by signing Vialli from Sampdoria in 1992 for £12.5million. In his first season, he helped the Old Lady win the UEFA Cup. https://www.planetfootball.com/quick-reads/every-world-record-transfer-since-1990-featuring-baggio-shearer-pogba/ In 2014, when Perez joined for £1.5m, Gareth Bale had been sold for £86m just 12 months earlier. In relative terms I'd say Perez is the best pound for pound player despite Rob Lee's great contributions over the years. Used to love the way Lee would chase a player down and come away with the ball so easily.
  5. Almirón clearly frustrated with Ritchie at times. Haring into space showing where he wants the ball and Ritchie turns away inside to do nothing with it.
  6. I'm not usually pessimistic but after that West Ham showing I'm not that hopeful. (So we'll win...... or not).
  7. Bolton were in the Premier League from 01/02 until 11/12. Not difficult to imagine them back with a bit of backing - a project for some investors unwilling to get shafted by Ashley. Time will tell.
  8. Was raging during the commentary when at one point they claimed Ashley had put his hand in his pocket to buy Almiron. Does that happen at any other club? Where the owner gets all the credit for a player purchase. For the 17/18 season 8. Newcastle – Total payment: £123,018,207 Figure taken from https://talksport.com/football/376346/how-much-money-each-premier-league-club-earned-tv-and-their-final-position-180518283150/
  9. Has Benitez ever beaten Pelligrini in Premier League? Might be his nemesis. We looked a bit nervous at the start and gave the ball away too often, but that didn't improve overall much in the second half, we are frequently careless and nervous with the ball - especially in that game. We simply didn't look good enough. Although Almiron gave the ball away a few times too, I saw him looking for movement where there was fuck all to be seen, I'd rather we adapted to his requirements than he has to adapt to ours.
  10. Someone fucking answer me, I've got money on this game that might need to be protected with a safety bet.
  11. Leeds can't keep up the intensity of this press can they? First time I've watch them this season..
  12. Current form table.. https://www.twtd.co.uk/league-tables/competition:premier-league/form/matches:6/type:home-and-away/ Brighton are in trouble if they don't turn it round.

That'll be in the GOTM surely. Keep watching it, absolutely cracking goal.
  14. Agreed, he's not as hapless as some people slate him to be. Solid enough player in a team not under the cosh.
  15. They've scored 8 goals in their last 4 games and their two forwards are in a bit of form. Miguel first goal and 2-1, £10 gets you £700
  16. Tagged on to Transfer Rumours. Just saw Hoffenheim bought him for £2m and got 25% of that back in a loan fee.
  17. Caught two fish within 6 posts.
  18. Fuck me rigid, what a bizarre thread to find at the top of the board today.
  19. Always been a fan but by fuck it was frustrating at times. Soon as we signed Almiron I felt we'd see more from him as he'd have time and space previously denied.
  20. Strangely optimistic that Ashley actually works out letting Rafa buy a few players might mean PROFIT!
  21. Up to 14th 2pts behind Burnley, who are next, and just beat Brighton 3-1 away and Tottenham 2-1 home in their last two.
