Thing is he wanted to leave us even if we stayed up, he hasn't made the kind of step up he's been on about.
-
Its been all about giving us a squad capable of winning this league, and IMO we've done that. If we can do that and make profit then all the better.
-
Only reason would be if we needed the money to bring in a replacement. Otherwise its worth waiting, we'd almost certainly get a higher offer as the windows comes to a close.
-
It'll probably have a clause to force a sale based on games played.
-
Remy at left back please Pards
-
Nah fuck that, stick to our guns and see what offers come in today/tomorrow. If he stays he stays.
-
Because he reckons Liverpool will only sell or because he's heard something specific about this deal?
-
I'm not sure you can define what Wijnaldum is, so deciding who is or isn't a better player than him is practically impossible. Either way we've got the players we need and broken even, we don't need to sell Sissoko. If he doesn't go he's not going to want to sit on the bench and Rafa will soon put him in his place anyway. If he wants to act like a cunt he's got a long three years to dwell on the end of his playing career.

Forced loan?, what force is he going to exert exactly?
-
Did you watch the 9 minute 37 second video with AlmarssadPro in the title? Shows quite a bit of defending their as well. Obviously its youtube so not going to show any shitness, but he does look quite tenacious in defence and importantly quick enough to get back when a team catches us on the break. Also from the examples shown likes to win the ball then break out with it himself, rather than just lumping it to nowhere like Dummet. Wish I hadn't watched that video now like because I'm going to be gutted if we don't get him

Proven in what way? Proven to be shite for at least a year now.
-
Exactly what we need in this league. Anita running his bollocks off and making us more 'solid' is not. Pitiful fee. Four assists last season (one of those in the last game when it didn't even matter anymore) but how many goals did he cost us? No doubt he had a very good first season, 6 assists and didn't look as bad defensively, but he's been shite for a while now.
-
Is Gayle and Mitrovic being out official?
-
Any mention of a fee?
-
Well they haven't Rafa has said that they are looking for a striker, if it was the club of old, then i'd tend to agree with you, but I Rafa tends to tell the truth. It's fucking August 25th. As per usual the club are putting profit before having a suitable and balanced playing staff. We're in the Championship, we certainly won't be making a profit. We've also clearly been putting bids in for players.
-
As far as the fee goes, international or not he's a right back who can't get in our side in the Championship ahead of a midfielder. Also downgrade?, same answer, can't get in ahead of Anita FFS, how can anyone be a big downgrade on that?
-
He'll be canny in the Championship as well. All you need is one outstanding attribute to do well in this league. Is this a loan BTW?, haven't been keeping up with it.
-
I'd rather play a shit 5 foot nothing central midfielder at right back than this lad, amazing if we get £7.5m for him. Anita also improved us for the last several games last season, looked far better than Janmaat. He gets forward a lot, but for so long all he's produced are hopeful floated crosses to nobody. Down the other end he's either not there or loses his man at the crucial moment. I don't know if he's just been found out or lost interest but either way I'm happy to see him go. Gets some more cash in for Rafa to spend in this window.
-
They all think he's a very good player on their forum, but he was running down his contract (June 2017) and then got a serious leg break so they've been resigned to losing him for a while now.
-
Once we get a better right back then yes he should be backup at best. Janmaat's job should be tea lady or something.

This is absolute bollocks by the way, unsurprisingly from this poster. Ayoze wasn't a passenger. He won the ball back with a fantastic tackle that lead to the Gayle freekick goal, he got pulled back which lead to the freekick for the 1st goal, played a lovely through ball to Hayden which resulted in us nearly scoring and made some delightful runs and touches in the first half. He was nowhere near his best but to say he was a passenger is bollocks I note you quote my post but look back at previous posts by TIoteWD ....confirms my assesment of him as well. So im not alone in thinking his performance was just so dissapointing , not for the first time. Its about opinions and i have mine, he will be dropped for Mitro...why? Because he's not good enough. So theirs two of you who think that, wow, hardly confirms anything, plenty disagree. I didnt go back far but i can if you wish Aye why not, you could tally up everyone who agreed and disagreed, time well spent.

Don't agree on those two, Mbemba did ok and was certainly the best defender there, but he made a couple of silly mistakes that could have caused us real problems. Perez was chasing down the defence/keeper as much as Gayle and running in behind. Unfortunately a lot of passes to him where lumped up in the air, he does look out of form, but I can't say he looked like he wasn't trying or out of his depth. Fair play everyone sees what they see but I don't understand how you can say Perez was trying, he never pressed the game once and it was evident because he was only one not actually doing it, I don't rate him as such anyway but regardless I was shocked at how bad and disinterested he actually looked. Prime example was when Gayle was doubled up on right on the corner spot and Perez was standing about 20 yards away for the entire time he was battling and didn't make himself available, it was shocking and wasn't the only instance of this. Gayle is as small if not smaller and goes up for absolutely every ball, Perez barely makes an effort and his feet rarely leave the ground, it might be cliche but the championship will be completely out of his depth if he doesn't learn to get stuck in to the game. I can't remember every instance during the game so you might be right on that example, I can only go off my general feeling watching it. I certainly remember Perez chasing down the defence and keeper, if he wasn't I'd have been screaming at him to get his arse in gear. Yeah he's less physical, he's never going to lead the line. But that's the kind of player he is, he needs a different kind of service, its no good hitting him with long balls. If that's how we're going to play then we need to move Perez to the left and stick Mitrovic their instead when his suspension is over.
