Genuine pang of sadness and hint of nausea when I watched the highlights. I know we’re supposed to move on - @Dr Venkmanpass the klaxon - and ignore him but I think I’ll always find it difficult to watch him playing for such a loathsome club. The most galling aspect is the utter vindication of their collective delusion. I hold onto this slightly pathetic hope that over time he’ll realise he’s playing for a worse coach and significantly inferior person, but I don’t think he gives any shade of shit because he has no shame bone.

As to Woltemade, 2 years ago he’d just had a 10 goal season for Elversburg in the German 3rd division. I imagine if we’d signed him off the back of that, you’d have had doubts about his readiness to contribute. The point is he has become much better very quickly. As to the wider moan, if you want to carry on asking the same questions despite the answers being very publicly available (PSR), then I’m not sure where to direct you. We are also (in my view very) active at finding the talent of tomorrow (Seung Soo, Minteh, Cordero, Hall…). We’re not the best run club by a long shot but we’re pretty good I think.
