I agree with you that Emre isn't good enough for where we want to be. While you're wondering what people see in Emre I'm wondering why, since you've spotted that with Emre, you seem unable to spot that Parker is a load of s****. I think Mr Parker will be back, but he needs time after that illnes he had. And Roeder should put him in special training, so I wouldnt write Parker off just yet. And maybe run some tactical training on him, because he has the abilities, but he doesnt seem like a smart enough player. And for god sake, we should only use him as a Def midfield. And he should be our captain, because he doesnt speak enough to the players. So I think Parker has the potenial to be a top 4 club player, but he isnt there today. We are desperat for a new manager, someone who can manage the players, motivate them, and also has great tactical knowledge.

Top 4 potential: Given, Taylor, duff, Solano(RB), Milner, N'Zogbia, Duff, Parker, Butt, Owen, and Martins.I will say they have the potenial or is up there all ready. I cant understand why you guys say Emre? What does Emre really got for abilities? Maybe he would work in a kaka role for us, were he didnt have to do so much defensive work. Defensivly, he is a mess. He is bad at getting in position, he always runs forward in full speed trying to get the ball from the other team, with the other player just taking a step to the right or left and emre is suddenly 10 yards away on the wrong side. I dont think his passing has been great the times I have seen him, his dribbling doesnt seem like doing much good, most of the time i have seen him dribble he has gone backwards or into 3-4 players of the other team. How many goals has he scored this season? Have ppl seen his freekicks? waste of time and money. And he isnt a good header. So can someone please tell me, what are his strenghts on the pitch, and why would he suit the top 4?

I would vote Taylor for captain. Come threw our rankings, has a top personality, and is villing to offer his life for Newcastle. One of our most commited guys, and has a great talent. He seems like a leader, and i believe he can motivate the rest. Parker looks past it, he looks like butt did before he went to birmingham.

What a great player Kaka is. Look at the goals, the finnishes he has. Fucking great that second goal, he makes it look so easy. Just chipping it over a player, then head it between two, and puts it perfect down in the right corner. That is lovely!!

I dont think parker is a great captain. Shearer was a great captain, and that wasnt because he was a good football player. A captain needs to be a leader, like Roy Keane, Shearer, and Gerrard. They need to talk to rest, motivate them, work their socks off for the club. I dont think we have any players with those abilities, Taylor and Butt are the closes ones in my eyes to be the captain. I think Taylor should have a go at Captain, it could be good for him and the rest of the team. He seems to me to be a player that speaks up, and he often looks motivated and energic. Butt is more of a quiet player, and I think he might have what it takes, but I think he is better when he can focus on just himself. For me Parker is a good player, but you dont see him running around like Shearer and Keane trying to get the ppl to focus on the game. Or run around like a mad man chasining the ball and trying to lift the team. We need a leader, and should really focus on getting one. Right now we have followers, but noone to lead our players. Give us a young Keane or Gerrard....

Agree with you here. Dont know what ppl really see in emre, everytime I have seen him play, he looks shite. He has no tactical skills so what ever, allways rush into players hoping to take the ball, and they just take the ball to teh side and run around him. He makes the midfield look wide open. If we get 3M+ We should really sell him!

Next season Roeder will get sacked after 4-8 games. We will chant for Hitzfeld again, ppl will see him walking around i Newcastle. And we will end up with Peter Reid. Our stock will drop to a record low, Fat Fred will buy out the rest of the share holders.. We will in about 5 years end up like Wimbledon.

Carew has been great for Norway the last few matches he has played. I didnt like him before, but he seems to be a class player now. I would worry about his injuries, Think if he came to england he would be up there with Iversen and Solskjaer on the injury list. Thats the problem with Norwegian player who comes to England, they are way to much injured. I think it is because they are not use to the amount of training, in norway we only play football for 2-3 months, with a summer brake in the midle of the season. I would easily take carew on a loan deal, we dont need another injured player tbh.

Pellegrino wasnt a miss, he was a hit. He was nothing but a short time signing. He was their and helped their younger players + helped the team learning benitez defensive structur. Zonal marking on corners and stuff like that. Didnt they win the CL with him in the team ?

The thing that is wrong,ppl get to easy freekicks. I miss the old days when players wasnt so protected by the "rules". When a player win the ball, and take the other player, it shouldnt be a foul. To much brake in todays matches.

I would go with that one too, maybe zog instead of Luque. Dont really think Luque is a winger, he is more of a forward after he came to newcastle. Ramage is shite going forward so he should just stay back, and let solano go forward more. If we lead by two goals or more by half time, I would rest dyer and martins for Luque and Sibierski.

lol was going to be my reply but you finished reading it first As for Daniel Braaten, aye he looks fast direct and very handy but youtube is up there with FM to be honest. Used to be class on FM on the one before he moved to Rosenborg. Always was my first buy. Daniel Braaten isnt even a starter i Rosenborg. He only play 15 min, the rest he goes around watching the rest playing footy. The game against Real Madrid, was the best game of his career. What was the rosenborg excuse for him, he was using so much strength when he runned, that he got to much or to little oxygen in his legs. Thats why he didnt work so much For Per Cilijan Skjelbreid, he was a good player before his injury. But it seems like it has scared the living shit out of him. So Youre saying sack Mr Sheperd, and that will fix it? A DoF will take the heat of Mr Sheperd thats true. But he might do a better job in the transfer market, than Sheperd. He will also let the manager concetrate more on tactics, training and man management, instead of doing non football stuff. But thats my opinion. Because he has a DoF over him, who takes the focus on renewing contracts, watches the players, all all non footy thing. So that will leave the manager to only concentrate on the game, instead of doing researching on other fields too. Roeder did well last season when there was no pressure on him, we only wanted to avoid relegation. So it seems to me like Roeder cant handle the pressure when ask to. I was hoping for Roeder to take in a few youngsters, and perhaps knowing a few bargains. But he is choosing to play "safe", getting ppl like Srnicek, Sibierski and Bernard. I have been reading stuff about sacking Roeder, the board and Mr Shepard. But then what? I am just curious, if we sack Roeder, the board and Shepard. Who will take over the club, some said the tea lady. Maybe Douglas Hall? bluesigh.gif who would be good enough as a chairman to make the deals, to appoint the right manager, to spend enough cash. Is that what it takes to turn us around. I think we need a long term plan, With or without Sheperd. I think a DoF would be healthy for the club, leaving Sheperd out of choosing the player deals. We need a proffesional to handle those deals, not a fat oil pimp. For the manager, I think we need to look outside of this island tho find one. And when we do find one, we need to have a 5+ year plan for the club. We need to get a good youth team, because they are the future. And youth players dont cost as much as senior players(Luque 9.5M, Owen 17M, etc). I think we need to look at clubs like arsenal and tottenham. We need players with accelration and pace, young players who can develope in to world class player in the future. We need to pick up more Zoggy's, we need to find our Henry, and the next Shearer. We need to get a new scouting system, and we need them to working the whole year, not only when the transfer window is open. We need a new trainer team, need to get rid of the backroom cancer that we have hanging over us. We need coaches who ask more of the players than the coaches today. As the big club we are, we need to get back up with the top 4 again. It will take time and money to get us up there. What do you lads think, how can this club be turned around and by who? No "big" manager will ever come here as long as Fat Fred is our manager. Because they are low paid here. Cant choose their own team, because FF wants "big" name signings to make the fans satisfied. While the manager needs a striker, fat fred goes out and buy a winger. Who would ever come working for him? SBR did, because he was a NUFC Fan, and he love our club. If we ever are going to achieve big things, we need to sack Fat Fred, and the board. We need to find ourself a good manager, and let him choose his own coaching staff. We need a revolution in the way we are doing our buisness, because this Fat bastard doesnt know much about running a football club. I say play Luque, play someone else than the team that has played so far this season. We're 17th, it cant hardly get any worse than this. So why not try something new?

I've always wanted us to play 4-3-0-1-2 like Ac Milan. Its a formation which outclass the 4-4-2 formation which is used in the premiership, but is shite against teams that play 4-3-3. But as we lack central midfielders, and have to many wingers, it might not work. If we convert Duff as a left back, push milner as a right back(Carr doesnt have the stamina or pace to run up and down the side). Its a formation were we either could use Zoggy or Emre in a offensive role, Working offensive as a playmaker, and in defence he/they work as our first defender. Our right and left back run up and down the side helping in attack, while our midfielders takes the wingback space and covers it if we loose the ball. In offence play, we will get many ppl up and out number the other team. This system needs to defensive midtfielders, so we could use Butt and Parker in these roles, and again Emre or Zoggy in the central of midfield in the Pirlo role. This formation might work, but I also think we have to have a formation that depends on the other teams formation. So if they play 4-3-3, we should play a 4-4-2, or 5-3-2 formation and etc.

I just wondering, why isnt Appiah be a great player for nufc ? :roll:
