The £13 replica played like an absolute beauty as well.

Wrexham Vs Swansea 8pm on a Friday night for the USA audience. Could see them in the late kick off slot more than any other team if/when they get promoted
-
Kinda linked to Mitchell’s comments on Beardsley, but also something i saw on Facebook - if you built an all star 11 from 00/01-05/06 and then 20/21-25/26 who would come out on top? could be premier league or world 11s.

haven’t looked deep into the details but as PSR was full club costs (with exceptions depending on the standing of your club of course) and SCR is only looking a player costs (broadly) it is likely that overall the owners could still fund £30m a year losses and be compliant with SCR

Can we stick Ginola and Ben Arfa in the fatties team?

Emre Belözoğlu (now managing İstanbul Başakşehir)

Did think Gary Mac or Gordon Strachan but both missed by a couple of years edit, our favourite son from Corbridge only just misses out as well scoring 79, 80s, 90s but last goal 97/98 season -
if the average height of a premier league player is 6ft (thanks google ai search) then the average midfielder/striker will be less than that. so at 6.1 Ginola must make the cut in a position that is notoriously filled by short arses

I’ll throw in a 6 footer David Ginola for left wing

James Trafford (now playing for Manchester City)
Colos Short and Curlies replied to 54's topic in Football
Traffords probably got this summer or next to get out of City if he wants a team challenge for Europe. Any later then he’s the perennial number 2 and will leave to a bottom 5/6 premier league club. lets see his ambition, is it cash and talk about challenging the (arguably) best in the world or accepting a mistake and looking to move on and be number 1 somewhere -
Id make sure that only the referee can make a judgment either way, no swaying of opinion by VAR. 2 replays in real time, if that suggests something has been missed send them to the screen. If they can’t make that call after 2 views the refs decision stands. there should also be a mandate that any decision has to made based on what they would have given if they had seen the incident at game speed, no freeze framing

Has to be said that the selections and tactics in the last 2 games have been absolutely spot on and have shown that it wasn’t just words after Brentford but something he would actually action.
-
id rest him mid week, go 3 at the back with Hall and Elanga wingbacks (needs must!). or stick little Joe on the left and Elanga right if we go 4 at the back Gordon up top for this one.

I hate those ones, it’s a good wrestle to get the ball, we lose out on them loads and it does my head in. so probably more my personal bias here yeah
-
he was always more Bergkamp than Henry
-
Just for a little balance thought he go the Watkins and Trips one wrong as well. nowhere near as obvious as the ones against us obviously

Somebody is at home doing his own social media tonight rather than his team

Stood up and took responsibility today.

He's needed at right back 😭 Tonali needs to put his right boots on and we have to hope Willock and Ramsey can stay fit and in form. I can definitely see a 3-5-2 being used a lot now, maybe even a 3-4-3, bit of course we only have 3 fit centre backs unless A Murphy gets some minutes
-
It's 11 out of 12 signings made under his watch are non British. And 50% of his managerial appointments. Got to think a lot of the squad will have been put out by the comments

Going back to Ginola, one of the reasons we were difficult to defend against was that we had 2 very different wingers in him and Gillespie. One direct and pacy, one who had more tricks than Paul Daniel’s. you couldn’t sit back or step up
