Not rumours, it's literally in the official statement. Edit: although it's not to one female colleague but several.

Has Shelvey been very good of late? He was good against Leeds but was tragic against Watford. Wasn't there a stat that he made 3 successful challenges in the entire 90 mins?
-
Makes sense, because Bruno is fucking klass.
-
He looks good in this one:

Leeds United vs. Newcastle United: 22/01/2022 @ 3pm (No UK TV)

I think it is really that 7 players in the matchday squad played in our side vs Villa in the Championship. -
I feel like we're trying to sign one top end centre back (Botman/Carlos) and one cheaper option (Diop/Phillips) with the players we're linked to. Would be sensible move. Too many of our centre backs aren't Prem quality but we're not likely to be able to afford two top end centre halves.
-
Man City can prove the deal represents a fair market value because they have a history of expensive sponsorships. The fact that that history is based on inflated deals from related companies though is why this system is completely broken.
-
Some random bloke on a Twitter thread earlier today reported pretty mcuh dead on this (the free + longstaff). Could there actually be a real ITK on Twitter?
-
I think Craig Hope mentioned an interest.
-
Not sure we have to win half our games. We're 3 points from safety.
-
Yeah, it depends on the quality but three players could transform the side still. If Trippier is the full-back and the other two are of a similar quality then it'd improve us massively.
-
So a centre-back, full-back and centre-mid minimum, but ideally also an attacking-mid and striker according to that article. Sounds about right probably.
-
The follow up tweet says the previous deals is across the PL, not based on NUFCs previous deals alone.
-
That also ignores amortisation, where the cost of the player is actually spread over the length of the players contract. So if we spent £50m on a player with a 5 year contract, that would only count as £10m for this year (but would obviously affect each subsequent year by £10m.

Might be wrong but I though it was confirmed. Edit: definitely confirmed him and lascelles were off for a long time due to long covid and both had severe symptoms. Can't find confirmation of them in hospital though. -

Didn't Saint Maximin end up in hospital and was out for a long time due to it? -
Can't wait for Mikel Arteta to tell us he's been one of the most influential ceos of the last century.

People also complained about Mike Ashleys treatment of workers but are happy about Saudi Arabia owning us. Let's be honest, the upset was about Mike Ashley more than about anything else. I don't think it's that hypocritical to not want Sports Direct Arena as the stadium name given it's a shitty brand, and shitty name, owned by a shitty owner that was paying nothing for it. Whereas this could be a means to an end, where due to fair play, if we want to start to challenge financially at the top we need to find ways of making more commercial income and this is one possible way. It's at least worth the discussion and I don't think makes a hypocrit of anyone.

It also massively encourages piracy. Perhaps a better system to protect the pyramid would be to allow for saturday 3pm matches but ensure greater revenue sharing down the pyramid from what is earned. -
The one thing I find crazy in this whole thing is how everyone is taking it forgranted that we are going to be one of the dominant teams in the league. Klopp says it there, but also I remember on TalkSport someone suggested we might sign Kane in the summer and they took it seriously. Someone even basically said it's a big 5, with Newcastle, Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool. It's just insane when you hear it. I hope it ends up being true.

While he's not who I want for the job, I think he did a decent job in his first year at Chelsea with a transfer embargo and brought through a couple of youth players that are now key parts of the squad. The second season they bought loads of quality players and he failed to integrate them, which he rightly got sacked for, but that doesn't undo other good work he's done. I think he's a decent young manager.
-
I think there will be some of those, but there will be some of the Toney's too.
-
Last season their expected goals and expected points stats were WAY higher than where they ended up and this season they are doing very well. I am not 100% sure about him, but I think there is probably a good manager there who will manage at a higher level in future.
-
I think you've set your sights too high for right now. Toney is a quality talent and someone that could grow with the club over the next few years. We aren't going to be going out and buying Haaland and the likes right now. Signing the best players from outside the top six will be part of the process. Much like Man City initially did with the likes of Bridges and Barry.
