After the performances he's put in from the bench and in pre-season i'd like to see him get a game up front instead of Riviere. He looks a clever player who can create as well as get in behind. If Cabella is injured perhaps he'll get a couple of games in the No. 10 role though.

I presume Dummett will go into centre half as Pardew has played him there a couple of times.

Cabella is so clever in tight spaces, it's a bit of shame he'll presumably play out wide all season. Hopefully he'll be good out wide too.

I'm really only interested in buying players who are better or have the potential to be better than outgoing players. Otherwise, what's the point?

I reckon we're slightly weaker. None of the signings are as good as Remy or Cabaye. We have filled the outgoings with replacements, some are a slight improvement (Gosling -> Colback), but those two are generally a big drop in quality.

My concern is, if we get Janmaat and Riviere, that will be all the Debuchy and Cabaye money used up and we're still in need of a good quality centre forward, but we never spend more than we bring in. If we sold Sissoko, Ben Arfa or MYM they would need to be replaced too. I just don't see us spending the money required to get a decent centre forward.
