  1. I'd be happy if we get half that for them combined, especially with Woodman on the last year of his contract.

    sunderland

I'd love to know if he genuinely believes his own tweets or if he's just laughing his arse off as he stirs sunderland fans in to a frenzy.

    Nick Pope

It's not a name that gets the heart racing but it's more than worthy competition for Dubs who I would've been happy to see out next season with so I'd be happy with this.
  4. That collar is an abomination.
  5. Starting to think he didn't head it enough.
  6. Just thought; how many people have hit three or more of the 'top' clubs? Can't be many to have hopped between Liverpool/Man City/Chelsea, especially in this day and age.
  7. I guess making it pretty clear he'd likely move on at the end of his deal next summer takes most negotiating power away from Man City.
  8. I don't blame players as they start to realise how much they can hold these clubs over a barrel. But the pool of players we're going to have to endure a 'will he/won't he move' saga for every season is only growing and it's already tiresome.

    Fixtures (2022/23)

Looks quite an even spread over the course of the season. There's nowhere I'm looking and thinking 'Christ, we could go a month without winning'.
  10. Has there ever been a more clear example of why a dislike button is so desperately needed? Outrageous behaviour.
  11. I don't see why we couldn't and I'd bloody love it. Even if it just ended up some sporadic HBA magic off the bench if that's all he could handle I'm all for it while the club transitions. For those that pay more attention, is there much reason for him not playing the last couple of months of Lille's season? It looked like he was keeping up fine when he first joined, albeit I was only seeing highlights and the beautiful bastard will always manage a few highlights even on a bad day.
  12. I'm not going to judge any Derby fan for laughing off whatever we have to say about Ashley. The club's back is to the wall and they'll just see someone willing to come in and keep the club running, and understandably give them a chance. I just feel bad for them when they inevitably come to realise how utterly pointless it is to support a Mike Ashley franchise. I don't see them getting promoted under his ownership. I don't feel like the fact he allowed it to happen twice with us is the yardstick to use when you consider the wildly different financial starting points of the two clubs. They're not the big fish in a little pond and he sure as hell won't want to use his own money to make it so. Not to mention he'll check out mentally from the club even faster when he realises Derby doesn't have the same mix of big-yet-insanely-loyal fan base to exploit, nor the media coverage and exposure that the 'circus' of NUFC used to provide his ratshit businesses.
  13. NOT SOON ENOUGH DAMNIT.
  14. Happy with this. A smart move.
  15. Actually annoyed at how much nicer the Saudi kit is looking to me here. I can't be fucked with the inevitable sportswashing debates if I were to get it.
  16. Best of luck to him. No hard feelings but thankfully the club are finally set to outgrow these players that we should've been moving on from three or four years ago. Seems the perfect player to yoyo between Champo and PL with a club like Norwich tbh.
  17. Wonder if he's the longest serving club employee these days.

I wish he'd make his mind up. How many times has he flip flopped between 'we play nice I swear' and 'I had no choice but to play shit'. I'd also love to see him cry like the lardy little bitchpig he is if the only criticism was his team selection. He'd still manage to call that abuse because it's always abuse for the perennially sunburnt swine.

    England

These debates are about the only thing I find interesting when international breaks roll around.
  20. 26th? Why are we aiming so low? This is just the Ashley era all over again ffs.
  21. It'll be an honour to see NUFC pay to be the sponsor of their new club.
  22. Thought he'd just gotten another team promoted this season too though and his Wiki tells me Cremonese. Would normally seem strange dropping back down but I suppose if he gets it right at Parma there's more long term hope of a sustained stay in Serie A.
  23. Interesting. Didn't he just get another team promoted to Serie A?
