I'd be incredibly dissapointed if we signed Lingard in the summer. 29 years old and has had 9-10 games where he played really well for West Ham otherwise done absolutely fuck all rest of his career. Let's aim higher!

Wouldn't swap him for anyone right now. That's not to say I think he's a better manager than Pep, Klopp and Tuchel, but with his work ethic he could become better. Really excited to see how far he can take us.

There is definitely an element of luck to that goal. Suggesting otherwise would be silly. That being said, it was clear that he pulled off a move as he intended.
