  1. Since August 2015 to be specific. I've learnt to vaguely appreciate you regardless.
  2. http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/2013/05/lemmings.gif Sorry, are you not the poster who said Rafa wouldn't be disappointed with the window at the end of January? You were dead on the money there, like.
  3. We should've started preparation from the Premier League in January, as we did in 2010. It's a tad ridiculous to be going into July no stronger than we were at the end of last August.
  4. I don't really recall much of us doing much under Dalglish other than when he guided Keegan's team to 2nd place after he resigned, but Hamann was such a good player. It's just a shame we were a shambles at the time and he got poached by Liverpool. Don't know if Kenny looking after his old club had anything to do with it, but Didi was one of the few all round box to box midfielders we have had in the last couple of decades. Wasn't it against Juventus in a friendly when he scored that thunderbastard? Yeah I remember watching that and thinking what a player we have got here. I think he got stifled under Kenny's formation where we seemed to be playing with four central midfielders most games that season. Hamann played, at most, two games under Dalglish before he was sacked. Your brain's got some imagination, like.
  5. Have you forgotten how angry he was after the QPR game?
  6. Seems a bit a strange we're 10 days or so from pre-season training and there's no sign of any new additions to the squad, mind. It's not like this is a normal window. We literally have to turn a Championship outfit into a PL one.
  7. Absolute myth, this. But now isn't really the time to go into that.
  8. In their best season together when we finished 3rd Dyer played almost 50 games, to be fair.

Which players had good potential that he reduced to complete garbage? Pardew's a woeful manager who obviously has a problem getting the best out of his players, but let's not pretend the players who looked garbage under him here weren't just talentless garbage who never should've been signed in the first place.

Pardew man. Still makes me so angry. Clueless dipstick. Considering how much influence Carr had, why didn't he insist on Pardew getting binned sooner as he had no clue about any of the players being provided?! Good riddance to them both. So happy they are now both history. I'm sure when we signed Riviere, Pards didn't know where to play him in training as he'd never heard of him Can't blame him for either, tbf.

Unearthed. He signed French international who, shock horror, turned out to be good. The players he unearthed were virtually all utter shit.

We don't seem to be able to get rid of players without loaning them. Shows just how bad our recruitment policy has actually been. Tbf he came in under Rafa and was the only bad signing out of 11. So that's a decent average. Lazaar was an awful signing too, to be fair. Anyway hopefully now everyone on the recruitment side has the same focus and agenda, and no more utterly perplexing signings of untested players.

    Thank God. Long overdue.
  14. Lejeune doesn't look like a pipe cleaner, to be fair.
  15. He's going to be a really, really good player but at this moment in time he isn't better than Gayle and we'd only have him for one season anyway. No great loss.
  16. His name sounds like that of a Bond bad guy. like an evil Swiss entrepreneur I was thinking more a cynically handsome megalomaniac with a goatee and a castle surrounded by a pine forest in the South of France. He cordially invites Bond for wine then tries to cut his jacobs off.

  18. I think that's the best name I've ever heard.
  19. Genuinely not sure what there is to like about him. Attitude. Never hides from criticism and is refreshingly blunt and honest in interviews. Ability. Along with De Gea he's been the best shot stopper in the Premier League for the last 4-5 years. Yes he's having a dip last 12 month but nothing a bit of confidence wouldn't sort. Experience. Been there done it. Joe Hart the best shot stopper in the PL? What? I'm convinced that entire post describes someone else.
  20. Brilliant referee, Elleray. No one fucked with him.
  21. I think he's better than Elliot and Darlow. We should still be aiming higher.
