Well we've upgraded in every position we've made a signing in IIRC. The bench tonight was the strongest it's been for years. Doesn't mean we won't feel the effects of 4 or 5 first choice players being out. Any team would feel that.

Think the mistake is just mentioning their history and fanbases. The cuck status is due to current lack of ambition and looking for ways to stay in the PL as cheaply as possible, voting for PSR etc. Could happen to any club regardless of traditional status.

The hope has to be that we can stop them from playing their game by pure hostility in intensity. If that happens then we are strong favourites IMO. Of course they have more dangerous attack and we're lacking a striker, so anything could happen. But it definitely won't be easy for Liverpool.

Would be very unwise for him to escalate things towards the end of the window, he should really have an eye on how he's going to get back on everyone's good side. Once it looks like he's not getting the move he should switch to thinking about what he will do next.
