  1. Back tracking on Greenwood too
  2. State funds for the stadium, fuck off man. People living in poverty, children without homes and education swirling the drain….aye let’s pay for a stadium.
  3. If there’s any substance to the reports of Ashworth not having the control he expected then I hope we are clear with the model we intend to use before we appoint anyone, it’s hard to imagine why we would recruit someone with Ashworth’s reputation and then not go through with the organisational model that he works with (appreciating he arrived after Eddie).
  4. I’d happily ban phones from the match, why people choose to watch a game through a screen is beyond me. The worst is the fake selfies of singing or cheering followed by sitting back down and watching what they’ve just recorded.
  5. I still feel that not qualifying for Europe is unacceptable and it’ll carry some damaging consequences for us in terms of stature, attraction and retention. im not saying that he should lose his job if we fail to qualify for Europe but if it was my club, the conversation would have to be had because for all there has been some injury anomalies that’s not the only cause of some poor performances.
  6. We could end up waiting to appoint just like last time though, I can’t see another EPL club being willing to release their sporting director to us whilst also getting ready for summer. we could do with someone unattached or foreign.
  7. It’ll be the airport surely, no fucker lives in Brunswick
  8. God SSN is going to be unbareable tomorrow, the mighty Sir Jim FFS. Can’t wait for him to fall out with the Glazers.
  9. Personally, I wouldn’t release him from gardening leave for any fee. Put him on gardening leave till the end of his contract, he has detailed knowledge of our plans and will move to a rival team. We wouldn’t sell Bruno to them so why should we sell Ashworth.
  10. Of course he’s already said yes, there’s no way they would progress without knowing he’d go to them. It’s all just a show, look at Man U making big waves, Sir Jim’s impact already being felt, yada, yada, yada. It’s just a stage show to deflect away from the truth…there still owned by the Glaziers, they’re still a shadow of themselves and will be for a while yet.
  11. I’d let him leave just so I didn’t have to hear the shite about super Man U and the mighty Jim cuntface on SSN.
  12. Proper shit house moment when he poured their keepers water out on the grass.

    Dan Burn

He was exposed today and it’s certainly not the first time. Anyone in the crowd chanting for Tini should hang their heads in shame….it will have been heart breaking for Burn.
  14. Great away match, brilliant trip, brilliant performance and great away atmosphere 👍🏻 One complaint, what the fuck was Villas pre match party all about…I’m sure it’s a personal thing but it’s utterly pathetic in my view. Ironic of course that holding their phones up was pretty much as good as the Villa fans got yesterday.
  15. Haven’t been back here since relegation, taking a detour via the WCML to get there so we better get a result.
  16. His kids have been going to school up here for a while now…his lad plays for the school team.
  17. Without a doubt, appreciating we have a very vested interest in the restrictions that FFP apply to clubs, none of it makes sense to me. Arbitrary figures, where does £105m even come from and why doesn’t it change? Why can owners input £35m? Where does that number come from? I’d hazard that any team in the EPL could sell a player for around £50m if needed, what’s the big fucking deal.
  18. Honestly sick of hearing about FFP and VAR, that’s all football is about now.
  19. Does the acceptable losses under PSR ever go up?
  20. I read somewhere that if Toney moves we get a significant (whatever that means) sell on fee….this can be used towards FFP surely?
  21. There was a lot of people that I didn’t recognise today but I don’t think it was down to that tbh, the atmosphere has been shite for large sections of the season and personally I think there’s a wider change that’s occurring not just at Newcastle. The demographic of a fan is changing and with that I think we will see a quieter game of football. The animosity of football and rivalry seems to be in decline, just look at the Sunderland thread for examples and with that I think we will lose more noise in grounds. Something I found from Europe this year is that there seems to be more chants rather than songs in Europe, they’re easier to learn and maintain whereas in England we all sing a variant of the same song, maybe something to think about. Today was shite though, utter shite indeed.
