  1. I wonder if a phone call from Dyer would change his ways. Dyer seemed to change his attitude when Souness came in, and always cites him as the catalyst for realising he was a bit of a twat, but since then he's been injured almost constantly. "Hi Ranger, Dyer here. I was asked to call you up with some friendly words of career advice; when I was at Newcastle I was a total fucking cock who never produced the goods on the pitch and was an absolute dick off the pitch too. They rewarded me with millions of pounds after millions of pounds. I then disrespected one of the greatest managers in English football history and rather than being sacked they still paid me and I was ultimately rewarded with a move to West Ham and more money for doing absolutely fucking nothing of note. Oh. hold on, the guy's here to clean my diamond chandeliers & swimming pools.....(30 seconds of silence)...sorry about that Bra, so where was I? Oh yeah, you appear to be on the right track, keep up the good work."
  2. flatters to deceive from the little i've seen of him - runs around mimicking the style of ronaldinho at higher speed but rarely produces fuck all will never make it in the PL imo
  3. And Liverpool failed miserably with it, as I said. players/coaching >>>>>>> formation. what's the German coach said? he had a system in mind and picked the players that would best suit it, no? i think what you're saying is obvious, and kind of a given; there's no point in picking a system such as Chile have just done if there's very little/shit coaching to back it up and/or the players are so brain dead they can't adapt to it not sure liverpool is a great example, benitez had relative success with a version of that system 'til he sold the heartbeat of the side (Alonso) plus Gerrard and Torres had shocking seasons - had they performed to their usual standard liverpool would have finished 4th imo formations are important but how they're implemented is also key; anyone remember keegan catching 3-5-2 fever and trying that out? i do, i wish i didn't but i do...
  4. In which case, cover yourself? bet for the 3rd likely team to win out of the remaining 4 just so as not to lose? 2/1 on Germany, would have to throw 90 quid on to get my original stake(s) back and it'd barely be worth it...fuck it, come one spain!!
  5. fucking footballers man, don't know they're born
  6. set yourself up now...tagged with failure!
  7. got spain to win & villa top scorer at 18/1 also got holland to win at 11/1 30 quid on each fucking germans are going to ruin this aren't they?
  8. Just what happened between taylor and carroll (itk and all that) so...
  9. that's alright, i don't think there's a single toon fan on the planet that was expecting one
  10. probably played there once or twice, he's just the only Boateng we're likely to be after
  11. it insinuates we're looking at the Pompey cast offs too. Good, get Boateng in immediately! aye, George?
  12. also i think the press might be otherwise engaged at the moment with things like: WC semi finals, maradona being a radge, ronaldo's new bairn, rooney being shit, england being shit, man city spending the economy of a small country on new players, vuvuzelas etc... that kind of shit, James Perch probably wasn't high on their list of investigative priorities
  13. strange comment robster, it's traditionally how teams with less talent overcome their more talented opponents: analyse their weaknesses and your own strengths to overcome adversity Low is doing a fucking amazing job of combining the two things at the minute... FWIW I agree with Prophet, we should play it 100% but i think hughton is the type of manager who'd tinker it back to 4-5-1 as he's more defensively minded
  14. Genius... never gets funny that one!! eh?
  15. sounds like he deserved it; play by hip-hop 'culture' rules & get mugged by them = ipso facto
  16. fucking hell man, i mean, fucking hell why would you take the time to write on the interweb such horrifically inane shit? "Night Night Everyone Bed time"
  17. You mean like forums? touche
  18. Why is that a problem? well it's not for, me i'd imagine it would be for any such dude, or should be but yeah whatever, lap it up, personally don't see how a dude writing random shit is as funny as is being made out but knock yourselves out
  19. problem with twitter and the like is this fucker who's making everyone laugh is probably a socially retarded recluse sitting being funny and never interacting with real people
  20. good, once again FIFA apply the correct rules the end is anyone denying that ? what some are saying is that maybe the rules should be changed for the future in light of that. in this case what would you change them to?
  21. good, once again FIFA apply the correct rules the end
  22. amazing comment Amazingly true comment. Amazing that any European could say that tbh. Beggars belief.
  23. I'd agree. Carragher is tough and street wise and wouldn't have allowed himself to be muscled off the ball like that. He's also an organiser who's not afraid to open his mouth. Capello fell to the temptation of picking an unchanged side after a win. Carragher was the better option and should have been restored to the team. Boys, I've been looking for a new dealer for months can you PM me yours? He's clearly a magician.
