I still lean towards keeping and overhauling the squad, but honestly if we start off next season with no improvement then he’s toast. That’s not a very good position for a manager to be in, so I can see why some would want to make the call before the transfer window. Especially if we just tank the rest of the season.

Well he’s slow, very weak, and seemingly can barely jump off the ground. After his good start defenders started bullying him out of games.

Spurs have been part of a group that have actively tried to kill the sport, including trying to get a veto on other clubs takeovers with project big picture. Playing by the rules is fine, trying to change the rules so that sport is as rigged as WWE is bad.

I think he would have to lose every game for the rest of the season for him to walk. Won’t happen IMO.

He’s only had 100 odd premier league games. He’s ok, I’d take him as a cheap squad player. I don’t see why he would be cheap though.

I’d take conference league. It’s the lesser of the lesser trophies but I’ll take it, and winning it gets you Europa league which we can also win, and winning that gets you CL. We can get used to playing twice a week and winning stuff.

Man City are basically throwing shit at a wall these days. Anderson will be given a run in the side to see if he can nail down a place, if he can’t then he becomes a rotation player and another 50-70m player will arrive in the next window.

Trafford is the only one that could have actually happened IMO. The rest was likely just agents taking the piss out of us. It was clear what was going on when we bid for Sesko.

I think a lot depends on what we want Bruno to do. Do we want him at the base of the 3 or do we want him with more freedom to get forward? I’ve always wanted the latter but maybe he has a preference. I’m expecting to need replacements for Willock and Tonali anyway, I’d be shocked if either are still here in September.

CB needs someone to come in and take control of it IMO. I think every really good CB pairing has someone you would identify as a leader and organiser, and I don’t think Thiaw or Botman fill that role.

If the club decide what has happened this season means we need a change, I would assume that will have come from PIF rather than Hopkinson.

I don’t think it’s helpful to say it publicly, but then I also don’t like it when they speak without really saying anything. At least from this we can take it that they’re not happy with how the season has gone. I wouldn’t have said it though.

They fucked up as well and maybe they know that, though I haven’t seen them acknowledge it. I don’t think anything got bailed out though, it was an awful window.

Saying it publicly is questionable and not really necessary, but then we complain about lack of communication. It’s no surprise if the ownership is questioning things after last summers spending and this seasons performances.
