You just know that the next s**t storm is always just around the corner and liable to hit this club at any time. -

If he wasn't arrested, why don't the club say so? -

Think I worked out if we draw our remaining games and Huddersfield lose just one we'd be up. Wish they'd just get it done though. Anything can happen with this club. -

Villa away could be a big problem for them on the last day of the season, if things are tight at the end. Would be quite ironic if Villa helped us in any way after having a big hand in sending us down twice at the end of 2 seasons. -
Great advert i have to say, despite what it's trying to sell.

Some great pics on that homes of football site. -
They're simply worse than the teams above them, although Boro are doing their best to match them just now.

Aye, was reliving the story of the geordie invasion of Leeds Road to my daughter during last nights game. Geordies up the floodlight pylons and everything. And that city game when we all expected a hard game. The 5-1 at home to Carlisle when we saved a pen at one end, turned around and scored up the other end immediately. Fantastic. was there, was surprised that as our first league visit there since. How far is the new ground from leeds Rd? Was carlisle the game that had writing on the pitch? remember the away game at Carlisle on NYD when one of our fans ran on the pitch and had a swing at the keeper- Thomas? Not far from Leeds Road. Didn't go yesterday but drove down for a friendly some years back and drove along Leeds road approaching the new place. Think that carlisle home game had a chance of being called off because of the writing, pleased it wasn't. Wasn't at Carlisle but i'm sure i've read it was Thomas. Was there the season before when Howard Gayle was standing in for an injured KK. That was my 1st away game. Didn't even bother me that we lost 2-0 at the time. Was just so thrilled to be at an away game as a teen. -

This is it IMO. Gone this year. Can't see them making up effectively 7pts AND finishing above 3 teams to stay up. They've had some miraculous escapes but can't get away with it every year.

I think looking over past seasons you rarely fail to go up automatically with 90 pts so hopefully 6 would do it. -
Remember that Birmingham result because shocks were real back in the day, not like the cups nowadays with weakened teams etc. God I sound old.

Altrincham away at Birmingham?

Think fans of all the clubs in that east midlands region, Derby, Leicester, forest have a high percentage of a**eholes among their support. Just from my experience that is. -

leaving from under the leazes at full time there was the fairly usual sing off over the barriers. Mainly younguns on our part, but a group of 20 or so hoolie looking derby fans had went out in the opposite direction to that of most the away fans. Just behind the NE corner, where leazes meets the east stand. They were generally mouthing off and challenging people to have a go. Time I got to the strawberry there was a police van with lights and sirens going, trying to get through the crowds. Guessed they were trying to get up there. -
Tricky situation here. A lot of peoples 1st DD payments for next season will be taken in march. That means if you decide you've had enough when/if rafa walks in the summer it's possible that 4 or 5 months worth of payments will have to be written off.
-
Last home game needs to be a repeat of last seasons v spurs where it was 90 mins of rafa love. Constantly singing his name and reminding him of how much he's loved and wanted by us the fans. Maybe even a chant of "If Rafa goes, so do we".
-
Think my days as a fan are numbered tbh. Obviously you expect ups and downs but so many downs with this lot. Even when things seem rosy you're always waiting for it to go wrong. Even if we go up there's every chance Ashley will give Rafa, a proven manager who offered hope, no option but to leave. It's football and you have to put some perspective on it, but it just makes me miserable for so much of the time. Find my self coming home from SJP after a s**t result and envying shoppers etc who just don't care.
-
Aye, Wilson caught my eye on those highlights too. Looks very tricky.
-
pains me to say it but might as well scrap the cups. If no one wants to be in them then don't have them. It's not just us who threw a "team" together today and made wholesale changes. Most clubs in the top 2 divisions do it. Cups are just an inconvenience these days. Not my sentiments but that's obviously what they are to managers.

The disbelief on the faces of the derby fans behind that goal was excellent. Comedy goal. Contender for one of those own goals and bloopers programmes of the future.
