I have a few Liverpool supporting mates and they're all really excited about this link. I don't think I could cope with HBA going to Liverpool, it would be like having to watch that girl you still loved getting in to one of your mates every week. Depressing!

Think that's more to do with playing 2 DM's than Darlow coming in. That's what I meant, it'll help his confidence that he has a better line of defence in front of him rather than the Taylor and Colo collinder effect.
-
First name on the team sheet at the moment for me.
-
Turned back the years tonight, outstanding performance.
-
He does make me nervous, he's done alright since coming in but I think it'll help his confidence we seem to have shored up the defence somewhat since he's come in.

We've never beaten Swansea in the premier league at home, Man City have won the last 13 games against us in the league, these are the records we have to beat to stay in the league, Rafa has got this. Another battling draw, I'm calling it.
-
Liverpool game is pivotal, a point or even a narrow loss could set us up for the last 3, it's not entirely in our hands but if we keep this form up we can take it to the end.
-
I think Wij needs to spend a bit more time on the bench, he's been far too comfortable being picked every week to amble around the pitch. Wasn't missed today, maybe that will give him a kick up the arse for the last couple of games.

Can't believe I've been watching the same team as has been playing all season, Rafa took his time but his drills are working. It got to a point where I was actually witnessing 1 touch passing, by Newcastle, against Man City. Defence were immense all game, Lascelle where have you been hiding? And Tiote looks like the player we originally bought! The only hope is that we can keep this intensity, work rate and determination up for the rest of the season, if we're gonna hit form, this is the time. Liverpool will be the hardest game of the lot, if we can avoid defeat in that we have an awesome chance.

Different class today, what could Rafa have done with more games??

More like mine in Blackpool

I hate Colback but ffs Sterling just fell over man, bent as duck these officials.
-
Ayoze goosed, get him off!
-
Is he clinically blind or just really pissed?
-
Sissoko and his elephant touch there.
-
Need to get our foot on the ball here, they're coming at us now.
-
I think it's a big ask to expect any of us to get any points tbf, all of us are down here for a reason and there's gonna be a few twists and turns before the end of the season that's the only certainty.
-
"You have to grow your car organically with how you perform on the pitch..." does that mean he was made to drive a Reliant Robin when he was here? Shithouse twat.
-
How many points would this guy have been worth? All they've done is massively reduced the chances of survival because of an egocentric philosophy.
-
I'm not getting my hopes up but until yesterday I heard we'd never beaten Swansea at home in the PL. Records are made to be broken and it's now or never.
-
Yeah. It pisses me off to hear the pundits all backing Sunderland, but if I was in their position I would do the same. All we did yesterday was keep ourselves in the game. Realistically looking at their fixtures and looking at ours, they have the better run in. I agree we need two points from the next two games to genuinely believe. I think we might get one if we play above ourselves. I'm sick of hearing about the "Sam effect" and all these predictors going round from Sunderland supporters that have them safe and us 19th. Not saying it probably isn't true, it's just fucking annoying! All three teams have back to back difficult fixtures and I think whoever comes out at the end of it having picked up points has to be favourite. We really have to get a result from City or the Scousers to have a chance.
-
All swings on whether this was a flash in the pan or if Rafa has got these misfits to turn a corner. Anything from the next two games is a bonus, we just need to stay within touching distance of Sunderland and Norwich when the "easy" games come round.
-
He really has the potential to have it all and showing up a lot of the seasoned "professionals" with his fight and desire, turning into a diamond when we really needed a commanding presence to shore up a dodgy defense. Hope Colo doesn't walk back into the team when fit.
