http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/05/06/cameroon-international-patrick-ekeng-dies-after-collapsing-on-pi/ Horrible news.

I have full faith in Rafa, he'll have the team well drilled for tomorrow, no complacency and if it's not going to plan he'll know what to do to rectify that. The only thing we can't control is the other games, that we'll have to wait for. We should, can and will beat Villa because of Benitez's influence.
-
The train wreck that was Pardew and NUFC obviously made him reevaluate his career and have a new found appreciation for the game.

doesn't get old We had an autistic kid in my shop the other day, stood looking at the games on our back counter. One of my staff members lent over the counter and said to him "what you looking at there buddy?" He looked him right I'm the eye and defiantly said "I'm not your buddy!" and walked away, he was in shock, we were in tears.

WE PAID HIM TO LEAVE!

I've always maintained the coaching setup and the implementation of a "that'll do" philosophy has destroyed our players. I do however believe that the players need to shoulder some of the blame, now they have a chance to redeem themselves under a world class tutor it's in their hands now.

I wouldn't mind of any of it was untrue, deserves a payrise not a docking of wages

What a 'character'. #Bantz

:lol; Yeah, this above all else. By all means rub their noses in it if we're safe, but that looks like a child scrawled it and is hanging it up in juvenile pride.

Who'd have thought 9 games ago that at this point we'd have Rafa Benitez in charge and be top of the table? Stuff dreams are made of!
-
I keep saying it, a Pardew, Carver or McClaren team would come unstuck for certain in this game, this is Rafa's team, no way he let's that happen. We've been punished for so long it's hard to see how things have changed.

All Spurs need to do is win, even if Arsenal win Spurs GD is so superior 2nd is theirs. I didn't look at that. Just so long as they win and go on holiday, all is good. Can taste FSA's salty tears just thinking about it.
-
Too much I understand the sentiment and boy do they deserve it after how they reacted to sending us down, but we're not in the position to goad them when we could very likely still be joining them. Short sighted and foolish.

Sunderland are still slight favourites on account of the extra game, but all that guarantees is another shot at getting points, nothing more. I don't fancy them to get anything more than 3 points which would put us 1 point ahead going into the final game presuming we beat Villa. The hope is that Spuds win at the weekend and Arsenal lose making our last game inconsequential to them. I'm sure there's a 100 different scenarios but I can't see anything being decided until the final game, that's why we need Spurs to not care.
-
Need a draw here, a win for Spuds against Southampton and an Arsenal loss to City, makes our game only important to us, unless we win at Villa and Norwich and Sunderland lose their next two then we'll all be on holiday!

Think Sunderland will lose to Chelsea. I could see them grafting out another bore draw tbf, part of me wants to see them go a goal up early on though, you just know FS would try and shut up shop after 5 minutes if they went ahead and them when they inevitably concede they won't be able to change gears to get back in front and let Chelsea build up a head of steam. I'm not sure I could deal with that I'm pretty sure I would have coronary if that happened too but I'd be telling myself it's a good thing

It's definitely twitchy-bum time but at the same time I can't see anything but a win, I think they'll give us a game in the first 45 but if we can nick a goal or go in at half time at 0-0 they'll give up. An early goal for us could see a landslide.

You need to consider changing your username Rafa has got this, he'll know how to damage them and have the team well drilled in time, this isn't a Pardew or McClaren team anymore, they're the ones that couldn't get us up to beat the teams below us.

Gold. Man that's so refreshing compared to all the race to the bottom s**** you get from the likes of Pardew That's brilliant. Not enough fret, pashun, battle and fight in there for me like It's not like Benitez doesn't value battle or fight, he's just smart enough to recognise they aren't the only attributes a team needs. Dann's a big strong lad, but he got done for lack of agility by Townsend's clever movement and that led to the winner. Anita's smaller than Janmaat but he's twice as hard working and diligent. It's about having a strong spine first, then you can build the flair around a solid base. It was a failed attempt at sarcasm, of course it's not all about fight and passion although it's needed, I thought fret would have given it away.

The Villa fans would love to stick a large nail in our coffin and give us an impossible task, the Villa players, however, couldn't give two fucks, much like they haven't for the majority of the season. Should be an easy win for us so long as we stick to Rafa's game plan and do what we've shown we're capable of doing.
-
Someone owes me a new mobile, that was irrational rate inducing bullshit!
-
He's definitely cracking, I've been saying Sunderland will bore draw themselves into oblivion.
