Morally he can't be anywhere near the club now, they can't be seen to be supporting that kind of behaviour! Surely they'll have to bend to immense public pressure, they'll be rightfully vilified if they don't get shot now.

    Steve McClaren

The points on the board is what matters as far as league position are concerned, however we are playing better and we're not getting completely spanked on a regular basis, the main worry being the inability to score and put games to bed. Undoubtedly, bar a hand full of games we've played much better and more positive football and my eyes don't bleed watching us. The main point being, McClaren isn't the answer and he's not a good manager, but he has been tolerable and I'm not cheering on the other team anymore, I'm not willing us to lose, that's light years away from where I was as a supporter under Pardew and in that respect, yes McClaren is better. We're going in the right direction and I feel like though it's 2 steps forward 1 back we are making slow progress, no that's not good enough when you've had £80m pumped into the team but years of neglect and patching up holes has got us here which isn't totally McClaren's fault. We need results and we need them now, I just hope we don't run out of games before we start to find the form we need.
  3. I don't think that feeling of unbridled rage will ever subside
  4. Another couple for Mitro please, get this monkey off his back!
  5. They were doing a lot better than they are now. How is it clearly not a case of poor management? I do feel sorry for him mind, don't know how anyone can successfully manage while not being able to speak the same language as the players I don't have more than a surface knowledge of what's going on there but a quick look at the last 10 results he's had (3-3-4) and the last 10 before he took over (4-5-1) both show them picking up 13 points. EDIT: Actually, some of those will be cup games too. "Points" probably doesn't stand up, but the overall argument remains. The games he won were cup games aye, haven't won a game in the league. As I said given the language barrier I wouldn't be writing him off based on this but he has done very poorly Fair enough. Still, probably deserves a bit more time before being given his P-cuarenta y cinco. No league wins is a bit worrying, though. Sir Bobby managed to to do alright not speaking the language in Portugal, Spain, or England. Harsh. Tbf he did struggle with the language sometimes, but it was endearing/hilarious
  6. I didn't kill him, I was only holding the gun, clearly it was the bullets fault.
  7. What a crazy article. It's the fat man who put these people in charge who can't deliver results when spunking £80m in one season... and he only had to spend £80m because of the years of chronic under investment. Fucking joke. The whole article is one massive contradiction, it's not his fault, but it's his fault.

  9. Do Russian submarines sink causing everyone on board to die? Allegedly none of the new players have relegation clauses, not sure how true that is but wouldn't put it past these idiots.

I know beggars can't be choosers and all that and I know he's definitely a step up from where we're at but the thought of Moyes does not excite me one iota. I don't know what it is about him but I'd really not like him here, especially long term. He would keep us up though, no doubt.
  11. From what I've heard today Mbemba probably won't quite make Saturday but shouldn't be out longer than that, unless Dr Shipman gets his hands on him.
  12. We should be revelling in this rather than worrying about relegation.
  13. I'll put my neck on the line and say we'll be much better in this one and probably even win. We're a different team at home, more daring. Doumbia to open his tally for us.
  14. It's just a shame we're so rediculously shit right now or this would be amazing, not that it isn't, it's just taking the shine off it for me. The day we're above them in the table and he's on the touchline crying will be the day it feels complete.

    Steve McClaren

Useless, inept, balding, brolly carrying cunt of a man.
  16. Totally deserved the score line, took them long enough to get there though. Shockingly clueless performance, McClaren to blame from the off but all the players bar Elliot should hang their heads in shame, total fucking dross, the lot of them.
  17. This is fucking disgusting, we look like we've never played a game together and are blindfolded. Can't string 2 passes together without giving it away, standing off their players letting them have all the time in the world. Half the players don't look like they give a shit and are just wondering around clueless. Elliot the only player out there now deserving of any kind of praise. Fuck this shitty little club!
  18. Aarons for Dummett?! Fuck me I'm turning this shit off now. Obviously hasn't noticed the complete isolation of Ayoze, if we're gonna keep hoofing it up we need it to stick.
  19. Hard to predict what we'll set up or even play like. Depends how the new players gel and who plays, this could go either way. The only thing that's a certainty is that we'll play 'tremendous'.
  20. After having time to contemplate what we do have and what we missed out on I think we've had a decent window. Glaringly obvious misses being at least a LB and possibly a CB and a ST. However it is feasible that a lot of our issues stemmed from an unbalanced and piss weak midfield, this has been addressed, we have much more options now and a greater sense of balance making us less predictable. The hope here is that the added quality in MF will reduce some of the pressure from defence giving them less probability in making mistakes under pressure and having a more balanced forward play with speed on the wings and a player with a greater range of passing creating more/better chances for our forwards. Hopefully McClaren can form them into a decent unit and get the best out of that midfield, he has the tools now, he's happy with what he's got, time to prove it, nowhere to hide.
  21. The only hope we have is that the improvements in midfield takes some of the pressure off the defense and gives them an easier job to do.
