  1. Fatty has been dealing with things a little differently this season and after spending circa £80m on players this season and if rumours are to be believed, without relegation clauses included, you'd have to imagine that fat arse will be twitching right now. We all know FMA's propensity to royally fuck things up though and back his subservient employees to the hilt, but how far does that loyalty stretch when there's so much money at stake this season? It could go either way, I'm hoping he does the right thing when this is clearly not getting any better and time is quickly running out but I'm not convinced he's got it in him to make a sensible decision.

    Steve McClaren

All equally shit, but don't kid yourself that Pardew's sides didn't take multiple arse poundings like this with equally inept "footballing" displays or that Carver didn't think that tactics were a little mint you get in a plastic box. Out of the three I'd take McClaren every time, but that's not saying much other than I'd rather smear shit in my eyes than eat it while I was doing it.
  3. For me the problem lies with how McClaren sets us up to play away from home rather than directly with Wij, ofc he's not blameless but if McClaren is insistent on playing a certain way away from home then it's obvious Wij doesn't fit into that style. Given the fact I don't think McClaren will change his tactics then maybe he should rest Wij, I don't think it's the right answer but I'm not the manager.

It hurts my brain the fact they have a new thread topic for every flea brained idea that enters one of their heads, OCD nightmare that forum.
  5. It won't be too long, they're still in the denial phase.

    Steve McClaren

That's what I find worrying, either he's talking out his arse or he's deluded if he genuinely thinks he plays attacking football away from home. Tomorrow will be tell all on whether he's learnt anything from our recent home and away performances.

If I ever here "front foot" again I'll kick that person in the cunt!

    Steve McClaren

I found this more worrying: "Maybe that's to our detriment that we have gone for the win. We can't sit back, we can't soak up pressure and hit teams on the break, we have to be quite front foot. "That's how we play. It's not got us results and we are hoping to turn that around, starting tomorrow."
  9. As I said earlier in the thread, rather than drop Wij for being ineffectual away from home, why don't we keep our home tactics and give him a chance to be the player he us at home? Chopping and changing between home and away is the real problem. Stick with what we know and what works and we'll start to see better results.
  10. Butt hurt Palace fan, clearly knows fuck all about HBA and clearly types like Ryder, by smashing his face into the keyboard. I couldn't resist replying to that, calmly like. I wonder if my comment will get approval?

If he's found guilty it'll be around 5 years. I'm going 4 years 6 months, aye Anything under 16 years I heard.

My local team, not sure how I feel about that! Nearly gained promotion last year to the Championship only just missing out on a play off place, they started the season really badly and sacked Graham Alexander, still rattling round the bottom but have enough to stay up this season.

  14. How about rather than benching our best goal scoring threat, we play to his strengths away from home like we do at home? He's bound to ineffectual when he's 10 yards inside our own half with only Perez 40 yards in front of him ffs.
  15. This was one of my main gripes with Pardew, it was always about nullifying the opposition, limiting the damage and hoping someone pops up at the other end. At least with McClaren we've cut that out at home but he needs to start being braver away from home. Yes we need to be watchful of a team full of first class internationals but we should also be trying to impose our game on them. Fortune favours the brave so we need to stop being cowards and attempt to play actual football away from home, we may start picking up points because at the moment the cautious game is yielding us nothing.

So he's been left out of the squad for Man u and Hippo Heed and Sunderland both claim they didn't know he was going to plead guilty.
  17. As much as I hate Jack I'm not sure there's much to choose between any of the options at the moment. At least at LB his back passes will be limited to Elliot. But he usually pivots to the left to try and pass to Dummett. You should look for odds for more than 50 throw ins to Chelsea as he gets confused he'll probably drill himself into the ground.

  19. This all depends on how McClaren approaches this game, park the bus, change formation, we'll get soundly beaten with barely a whimper. If we treat this game like a home game, try and impose our game on them when they've got an eye on other games in front of them I think we'll have a chance of at least a draw. I'm going for a 2-0 loss then

Exactly, ethics don't come into it if it puts the club in a questionable legal position, I can't see him being part of the team in the near future either. There's always some knuckle dragging supporters following all clubs that wouldn't see the problem in this, fucking idiots.
  21. If he's the most influential then the others must be one step lower on the evolution chain than amoeba!

no because the full trial isn't over and he hasn't been sentenced yet for all 4 charges, then they can take action I think Crying for them to sack him instantly is such a Facebook generation, offended at everything attitude. They certainly shouldn't play him but there is no reason they shouldn't wait for the verdict like. The right thing to do is suspend him until the trial is over and then sack him, his days are numbered and he shouldn't play for them again but while the case is still being heard they need to hang fire. yep, exactly, what's the problem? everyone scrambling to be the most self-righteous by wanting him sacked within a nanosecond of pleading guilty to a charge while the trial goes on I think it's just seen that he's done what he's done, admitted to some of it and in respect to admitting those charges absolutely should be sacked, but now isn't the time to do it, impatience and outrage above level headedness. If he's sacked now and it's indeed seen to influence a jury then it could ruin the case and the club could find themselves with some serious questions to answer. If they don't sack him after the case is finished then I'll polish my pitch fork.
