  1. 396-0 Not his fault, the poll was energy less, front foot polling. It's like science is against him, if wasn't for our over excited polling he would have won that.
  2. Can we reach the magical 400 with a clean sheet? Come on guys, do it for Pardew
  3. Added my vote 146 not out, good innings for the Pardew out campaign. The time is neigh Pardew Get. To. Fuck.
  4. Ergo, 10% of our fans are insufferable muppets or mackems.
  5. It's a sad indictment and ultimately I want his rather hefty shadow nowhere near SJP, but we can enjoy a modicum of success if the right man is in the dugout. If he set the management team out right, even with the financial constraints he implies on the club we could enjoy watching again, maybe even look at a cup. The clubs stance is that the premiership is more important than the cups, that doesn't mean an assault on one of the cups wouldn't be acceptable if we were comfortable in the league. It's just a good excuse for Pardew not being very good at his job, drop out of the cups like a lead weight and blame the clubs philosophy, easy win, or loss.
  6. I don't see anything wrong with what Rob Lee said, you can't starve the team of players for two seasons, fill it up with players from another league and expect them all to know how the premiership works. It's not a generalisation, some will need time to bed, that's why you keep players like Ben Arfa and Mbiwa to help out and fill in if any are struggling. Cabella may well turn out to be a class act but early signs show he's going to struggle a bit first. I think the point he was trying to make was that you need a core of players who know the league, every team has them, too many changes too quick can be detrimental but if it gets rid of this slag I'm all for it. He's got it bang on with Pardew though, a complete table spoon!
  7. As if Pulis would walk out on a job for being messed around by the owner and then take a job where Mike Ashley is the owner. I would hate to see Pulis here. He's a step down from Pardew for sure I'd take Pulis over Pardew tomorrow based on the fact he's a slightly better human being, however given the circumstances it would be a huge mistake.
  8. If you look up spectacularly unlucky in the dictionary I'm pretty sure there's a picture of St James' Park
  9. Bottom 8 would be a miracle at this stage!
  10. Look at all those smug bastards, don't they realise they're flirting with relegation just attending a European event?!?
  11. This is what it is all about for me. I absolutely hate this state of wanting us to score when we are attacking then not minding when the opposition score either. This is the definition of a glory hunter for me and I absolutely detest it. Same here, I just want a manager who wants to win every game, no matter the opposition or competition, I want to see us attack with speed and intent and roar them on. We can still have a successful team with Ashley in charge, with the right manager we can be good, we'll never buy a talisman again but we can create them. It can't come soon enough, this is the team I love, I can't change that but it's be nice to want them to win again, rather than take satisfaction in them losing. All I know is that if we win the next two I'll be gutted, that's not right?!?
  12. Where's Pardew in that picture?
  13. Galtier is contracted until 2016 but has a clause in his contract, Ashley's second favourite word, after pies.
  14. Been linked quite a bit previously! Gal tier was linked last May when Pardew made his best attempt to abseil down the league, but his name has popped up in a few articles again today. The story being that a respected, decent French manager can repair the damage Pardew has caused to our relationships with French teams with the destruction of certain talents. Good call if true.
  15. I'm trying not to get too excited about it, we've been here before, the only difference this time is that it's so early in the season. Ashley can't be happy, how many times does Pardew have to prove hes a cunt before hes had enough? We've heard the rumours Ashley genuinely like Hatem, how much did he have to do with his loan and is he happy about it? There's a genuine fear of relegation this season if the last 20 games are anything to go by(they are). Barring a minor miracle there's no light at the end of this tunnel if we don't part ways with the fraud once and for all.
  16. http://thespectatorsview.com/2014/04/01/video-2010-interview-foreshadows-pardews-downfall/ An old one, but scarily accurate, worth a repost to prove things have not and will not ever change.
  17. Krul doesn't come close to what Ben Arfa represented. We've sold/loaned out the only player (until Cabella proves otherwise) that represented what football and this club is all about. This. Hatem for me pretty much personified our club. Urgh. This, for me Hatem represented what the club means to me and how I want us to play but also represented hope and was like the martyr to the cause, he personified the fight against Pardew. That was the problem though, Pardew made it a him or Hatem thing and realised which way it was going so had to remove him. It's definitely like the heart just got ripped out of the club, the last part of its soul is gone.
  18. There was a time when I hated the international break, now I see it as a welcome breather where I can watch a team I can support make an effort to win a game of football. Although England can be as frustrating as Newcastle at least they try and win.
  19. That would be epic. Just watch Santoon that's a big railing to go over. Stay safe SanToon. I think we need to get a safety harness for this one, not so much comedy distance on that fall
  20. I think they're playing quite well, however I am using NUFC a as a yardstick of competency so I may be wrong.
  21. Odds slashed from 9/1 to 4/1 to be next manager to get the boot, just behind Hippo Heed!
  22. Say what you want about Fat Freddy, he wasn't shy with that trigger finger and listened to the fans, sometimes to the clubs detriment though. Pardew would've gone a LONG time ago.
  23. At least the penny has finaly dropped with our supporters en masse, I'm getting a lot of love on the Chron comments for discemination of Pardew/HBA. There's one or two defending the fraud but few and far between. I just hope that translates to the stands come Hull, because we're certain to get dry humped at Southampton. Surely even Ashley couldn't support a manager that had to deal with that Cardiff showing every home game.
  24. Steady on, like. He looks a real prospect, helped us draw at home to Crystal Palace and is obviously better than Alsoran but that's it, for now. Plus, you're all assuming Pardew actually drops Gouffran for him. Starting a teenager away in the south of England? That's too much for Alan to handle. Given his impact against Palace I can see Pardew looking to him for some "fackin magic". It won't be long before he becomes collateral damage in Pardews blame game which will inevitably damage his game and everyone will be saying he's shit, the new Bigi. Presuming Pardew lasts that long.
