  1. Fleetwood itself is quite nice in a leafy sort of way; detest the cesspit that is Blackpool mind. Fleetwood born and bred I tend to agree now living in Blackpool. I've got everything crossed that Preston lock down that automatic promotion place and Fleetwood have got enough in the tank to get through the playoffs, they're only 3 points off. Insult to injury if both get promoted while Blackpool tumble down.
  2. Pardew is the worst manager I've witnessed in the 20-odd years I've supported us, not least for the awful results, the disgusting football, insane substitutions, watching our best players rot on the bench, insane amount of bullshit drivel, lies and propaganda... mediocre my fucking arse, he was responsible for the strongest, longest, most painful stint of irrational hatred I've ever experienced and even with this gibbering idiot in charge I thank all the gods this rat faced, narcissistic prize prick has nothing to do with our club any more. /rant

    Steve McClaren

Ah man, imagine how bad he would be if the England job "wrecked" him. A poison chalice for a poisoned prick.
  4. LOL.. one won over twice the amount of games. Are you just going to ignore that little statistic? Isolating one statistic to prove a point is petty to say the least when the other statistics tell the real story.
  5. Fair enough, he's still shit like.
  6. Why is this even a thing? Pardew was poor to useless in every way a manager shouldn't be, yes he's on a good run with Palace, just like he did well when he first came here, but that doesn't change what he became. There's no defending him as Manager of Newcastle United, he's a shit manager and will return to form soon enough. Come back and make your "erudite" points this time next year.
  7. Ambitious to think we'll actually score for a start

I think the ship sailed a long time ago on that one, if he truly cared about the football side of things Pardew would have been pushed way before he jumped. This is just a continuation of the dour football and humiliating defeats, only Carver doesn't have that lucky streak that can keep us alive.
  9. At least he's allowed outside, Colback hasn't seen daylight in years. http://reactiongifs.me/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/brendan-fraser-crying-leaving-club-daytime.gif
  10. What there's more games? I thought the season was over? Putting money on Arsenal -1 is a no brainer, might even take the -2

    Sunderland

Easy to make Pardew look bad if you cherry-pick such a small sample size as 2 seasons. Ahh but, but, but... 5th and Cabaye

Aye it's those ridiculous social media fans and their unrealistic expectations again. By some sections he means 98%, right? And that's factoring in a 10% swing for mackem votes, so 108% of Newcastle fans want him gone, or he's possibly that bad even the mackems can't stand the licking anymore!

It will be enough to survive. So long as we are not going down (which I can't see) there is only 1 left game which I'm bothered about. You shouldn't be, it'll be the worst game of "football" witnessed by mankind and we'll still come out second best. We're keeping them up to add insult to injury, nailed on.
  16. The whole of NUFC robbing a wage from football these days, embarrassing!

    Sunderland

Villa were 2/1 at the start of the day.... Thanks for that! Made me some nice wedge, bookies must be mad.

Carte blanch for an abject, gutless performance. Could be worth a few quid on Everton -1 even with their dour form this season.

I hope we go to Everton and really let our hair down. Then we can get back to basics for the Mackem game.

http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/sport-opinion/newcastle-united-been-middle-road-8831190 What Lees saying isnt all that far away from whats being said on here to be fair. Medoicre club no ambition to be anything else, no decent manager will want to come here with the set up as it is. "I’d rather JC was in charge than a foreign manager I’ve never heard of" is beyond stupid though. Rob Lee hasn't heard of Remi Garde who's won throphies with Arsenal and managed Lyon in the Champions League and therefore he wants John "Toronto" Carver in charge. Any particular reason not to have JC though? He did well against Man United, won against Hull, and is generally getting his ideas across. He doesn't hate the fans like Pardew does, is passionate, and loves the club. He's finally giving players like Colback who give it all on the pitch, running and tackling, a chance. He hasn't been given time, I'd rather see Carver in, as he knows what the fans want! I want a good run in the cups and JC gave me a team of reserves and told them not to play. I'm passionate and love the club but I would have the balls to stand up to Ashley. Any bloke that say's he would be perfectly happy to work under the Ashley way of running a football club should be kept as far away from that club as possible. I agree about Ashley. I remember the day he renamed St James Park. That was the day I knew this man was a cancer. It was the beginning of the club forgetting its proud history, and going for money, and the results have reflected that. On the other hand, any one who wants to help change the club needs to explain what it means to Ashley. And I don't see a foreign big shot or a cockney c*** like Pardew doing that. It'll have to be a Geordie. I don't believe Ashley will ever change, but perhaps the passion of Carver might help the players understand what it means, and keep the club together. Until Ashley leaves, that is...... And I believe Carver will go for cup runs. This time around, I believe he underestimated the impact dropping a couple of players may have, seeing how s*** Leicester had been. But he'll learn from this, I hope However, if he doesn't manage to get the Derby, against this weak Sunderland side, without Johnson too, and it's his tactics at fault, he should be sacked Aye because he's done so well in conveying that passion in the years he's been here so far. He's just another Pardewesque lapdog with a Geordie accent. I'd rather have a progressive, hungry, foreign manager than a caveman.
  21. Another year on this leeches contract left, daylight robbery.

    Rolando Aarons

Maybe he's not playing because Charver has had him kneecapped for this: http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015/03/08/has-rolando-aarons-just-revealed-newcastle-uniteds-biggest-probl/
  23. Smith was finished before he came here, that leg break crippled him mentally as much as physically. Fergie ruined him by moving him to midfield too.
