  1. Just for you I'd love to see the club relegated. And if we were relegated, I'd still support the club. Completely disagree that because I refuse to run away from my club in its current state, I deserve my team to fail. Will you support us again in 40 years? Don't really understand your reasoning behind that, if we were relegated it'd be harder to sell us and we'd keep our unwanted players; hence longer Ashley/Gouff/Sammy Ameobi time. I support or did support an idea of NUFC that was representative of what the club was all about. Under Ashley this club bears no resemblance to that NUFC whatsoever, well except the no trophy thing. Therefore its easy for me not to support it and wish it burns in hell. Ashely's NUFC is to the real NUFC what MK Dons is to Wimbeldon AFC. A different f***ing entity. Thank god we aren't in Europe? f*** the cups? Mid-table? That's not even football never mind NUFC. I support and always will love the idea that is NUFC in the way it was intended to be and once was because I believe it will come back to me, but first we have to get rid of Ashley who is basically the iron curtain to freedom. Until then he and it can rot in hell, the more it burns the better so all those who support the c*** get what they deserve which is f*** all, the club we are seeing now. Me I have pride, I have principles, I have a desire to see an NUFC be more than an advertising tool, a thing for some man child and a day out for complete w*****s who go to the match and clap this s***.
  2. As if turning your back on an owner who holds all you love in complete contempt and actively tries to put one over on you at every possible opportunity is the same as disliking a player?! Like we all stopped watching because the club stood by Nile straight like a banana Ranger. Get a grip man, this is the worst state this club has been in for decades and the relentless futile feelings are draining supporters belief in football.

People are entitled to their opinion, but I struggle to see a way in which you can have an effective protest whilst sitting at SJP "supporting" the team. Do you have any suggestions as to how you'd carry out such a protest? The protests under the Milburn stand after games for example (not during the game inside the ground). Protesting in/outside Sports Direct stores. It is Mike Ashley we hate, not Newcastle United. Hence the reason I'd personally rather support my club but also rid my club of this idiot. One piece of salient information you missed there, this isn't Newcastle United, this is Mike Ashley's Newcastle United. The only thing that is the same is the building underneath all that tat. You're supporting am empty shell.

How could we get any fucking worse man? We might accidentally score if we "distract them". I detest this support the team, fund the regime bullshit.

Exactly, you can't emancipate yourself from the club citing Ashley's treatment of said club and then berate action taken against the man who has forced you away. What's your take on what should be done?

I concur, 8 years is too soon to form an accurate assumption, we don't want to appear fickle now do we? Probably best to give it a few years, change could just be around the corner. Things will change this summer, Ashley's gonna spend loads and hire the bestest manager ever

Um no. I oppose the people who brought us the roaring success that was SackPardew having any part in it. It was successful though. He's not f***ing here anymore as a result of it The stated aim was to get him sacked, not let him leave on his own terms, leaving us in a worse state, and in the process make him look good and us look bad. The process was to get him out, it might have not been in the manner anticipated but he's gone and a great deal of the reasoning goes to "those guys" so yes, it mother fucking worked! As for who thinks what about us? I couldn't give a rats arse, I don't even care if he finishes top 6 with Palace, fact is he was no good for us and he needed to go. How about the season he took us 5th do you think West Ham, Southampton and Charlton were hiding their blushes? Nah me neither.
  9. Blackpool officially relegated after today's results
  10. Its a bloated mess that cultivates greed and panders to the base wants of the rich and powerful. Objectively, you'd easy have the high ground on jacking it in. You just have to look at what it's done to Blackpool with Oysten's greed, they were once an ambitious club fighting at the top end of the Championship, one season on the Premiership gravy train and he's gone money mad.
  11. As I said in another thread, the dross below us had already saved us by Christmas, the same dross that is better than us now. We are wholeheartedly the worst team in the premiership at the moment. We'll stay up on the back of one or two scrappy draws, unless QPR and/or Leicester are confirmed relegated come May we won't win another game.
  12. He's the conservatives wet dream, climbing on the corpses of those less fortunate to build an empire. I hope he dies a slow, miserable and lonely death, helicopter crash is far too quick.
  13. Brentford have been a revelation. I'm feeling the same way about my local team (Fleetwood) who were plying their trade as a pub team not 10 years ago after fading into obscurity, now after a double promotion (sorry Yorkie) are teetering just below a playoff place for the Championship.
  14. Unless Leicester and QPR are already down come May I am struggling to see where the next win will come from, if we're going to stay up it'll be on the back of draws. Previous years we'd have been right down there, the utter dross has saved us, the same utter dross that all look better than us right now. 11 point gap for 7 games is as close as you'll ever get.
  15. I cannot, for one brief second, fathom in the slightest what kind of joy anyone could squeeze from such a huge ball of shit? Mates/day out/bantz? Go to the pub, it's cheaper and you're not getting your shit pipe stretched by a pie monster and his oversized cronies.
  16. I haven't watched a match live either in person or on TV since last year, I keep in touch with the games on here. It used to be that if I had to work (I'm in retail so usually do) I'd watch it in the office on the tablet, now even if I have a day off I'd rather be doing anything else.

    John Carver

A paraplegic that can't count without visual aid could do that.

    Sammy Ameobi

Now is the perfect time to "cull the herd" with so many contracts up but as you so rightly say Ashley will renew contracts of players not fit to be at the club just because they are cheap and we need the numbers. He doesn't see the value of having any "purples" as back up. There's no such thing as an injury free season and injuries shouldn't cost us as badly as they do, purely because outside our first 11 are barely championship standard and that won't change.
  19. If its anything but a "thunderbumming" I'll be highly disappointed. All out destruction of Mike Ashley's NUFC from here on in, fuckitalltohell.
  20. That's the blight that is killing us, abject apathy. Nearly all on here have made the stand and walked, depriving the club of their cash, but that is futile unless either a) more follow or b) those that sit in apathy wake the fuck up and give him hell. He's living in a perfect world right now, the trouble makers have gone and the stands are full of zombies that don't feel the flogging they're getting every week. 4 derby humiliations didn't stir a whimper, guaranteed thus one won't either. We're our own clichéd worst enemy, or those that stay are. I still feel that the Ashley regime in its current form could be successful and it wouldn't cost the fat twat anything, but it would shave off the profits and a modicum of success would wake people up and breed ambition. Ultimately that's what he's trying to avoid.
  21. No penny gone into the club, nor merchandise in a long time, refuse to pay Sky to watch it also. My home town club is Fleetwood, at least they have some ambition. My heart has always been for NUFC as I've watched Fleetwood with fleeting interest, however I've started to be much more interested in them than NUFC recently. If the summer involves Carver and the usual, 5 out 4 in transfer policy then I'm well and truly done, I can't take much more of this. I have gone from roaring us on every game, to anger, to wanting us to lose to get rid of Pardew (at least some emotion), to ambivalence, to feeling numb, to again feeling angry and frustrated. Didn't think I'd be too fussed about this game but it's really riled me up again, big things need to change.
  22. Gone from mildly expectant to completely throwing in the towel after seeing that line up. We're gonna get raked.
  23. I was just sick a bit in my mouth

    Sunderland

Footballing "friendships" usually involve a cap team and a good one, the former idolising the latter whilst the latter patronise and pity the former. No thanks! An alliance can work in the face of a common enemy though, I.e. anyone who plays Sunderland.
