Agree! Not all players hit the ground running and some never take off. Booing will only make the latter more likely.

According to Transfermarkt.com this season he's played: 19 times as CM 2 times as ACM 2 times as RM 2 times as RW 1 times as LW Don't know how reliable this site is, and they only have little potition data from 14/15 for Saivet. Haven't seen him play so I have no idea what he could bring to the team.

We are so easy to defend against.
-
That should have been a pen

Shit defending by Hangeland and Dann.

Gylfi on the bench, think it's a mistake, but I'm biased.

Either Wijnaldum's memory is fading or .com have got it wrong as the player himself said in his post-match interview on Sky that two of the four for Feyenoord against Groningen were penalties. EDIT: His memory is fine - quick Google search shows 2 of the Feyenoord 4 were pens. Why would they make a point of mentioning they all came from open play without researching it. They only say today's goals came from open play, so they are right.

Never been as much fun watching the national team!!!!!!!!!!!!

Draw for Iceland would be an excellent result.

Krul has been good today!

Not sure we can do much about other clubs being interested, but we could try to get him more playing time through loan system. That's unless we don't see him as a prospect, then just sell him to Monaco. He's still young (just turned 19), should loan him to L1 or Championship.

I'm not mad. I just remember when Newcastle FC came to Old Trafford and tried to win. Today reminded me of when Exeter got a replay at Old Trafford. "Heroes at the back." "Great defensive performance." Hi Mike. I would worry about manchester FC who have spent quarter of a billion dollars but have no threat on top. You can control the midfield all you want but it wont get you far with no attacking threat. Despite 70% possession you still had the same amount of real changes as Newcastle United. Think you need to rethink your illusion that Rooney is the answer. He is a good footballer but not world class striker. ManFC will be aiming for 4th at best unless they strengthen.

Agree, but Cisse will start anyway.

Yup, center halves are overrated, we just need more attackers.

Armstrong scoring again for Coventry

Watching Marseille highlights from last season doesn't show a lot from Thauvin. Looks like he was on the bench at the end of last season. Mind though, these highlights don't show much (official league 1 channel):

Not offside, Janmaat playing him on.

Why would he sign a new contract, unless they are offering him silly money it makes no sense. No disrespect to QPR but they are a mess, 10x more of a mess than Newcastle. He puts himself in a worse negotiation position with other clubs by signing a contract. The only reason for him to sign a contract would be to stay at QPR. I'm not sure they will bounce back to PL like last time and looking at their finances they look to be in serious trouble.
