Do you know what, going to go with this. Going to stick by with what I said a few weeks ago, we will sign him. Think I'll hold on to this one myself. You pessimists can sod right off.

If you want to see real athletes, watch the darts.

Worked there for fifteen years, give or take. They did well to survive this long. I'm just glad that I got the chance to work in a proper record shop, there won't be many others who get that chance now. As for QPR, well I can't wait to see their accounts. Redknapp couldn't give a fuck about their wage bill, and fair enough, it's never been his job to worry about that. I actually thought Remy might be underwhelming, and that not getting him wouldn't be such a problem, as long as you have somebody else in the pipeline. There are still more than two weeks left in the window. A fair bit is going to depend upon your next couple of results. Dropping points against Reading might be a blessing in disguise - it would be brutally evident then that you need at least two sizeable signings. One up front, one at the back. Don't panic yet. Once again: I like you leffe. More like you needed on here.

It's a sad indictment of the game today that the moment the club at the bottom of the league comes in for a player that we're interested in that we can't compete financially. Not blaming the club at all, like, but its gutting to be trumped by shit like QPR.

Got his wish then, the scrotum faced bell-end. Hope he chokes on his own skin.

110k a week If so he's got to take that. Aye, especially as it'll also probably be tax free thanks to Harry's "unorthodox" offshore banking arrangements... I always knew the failure to lock this cunt up would come back to haunt us Yep.
-
It's borrowed money. They'll be fucked in 5 years time without a doubt. Unfortunately, that means nothing in the short-term. Irritating that a club with a half the revenue stream can convincingly outbid us for a player. Spot on. We can but hope. Nothing about that club since it came into a bit of wedge Has been done properly.
-
Absolutely. You knew wobbly wouldn't let it drop though given the comments about it being 'difficult' for QPR to get him even after Remy had refused the meet.
-
If a club has ever deserved to go out of business it's QPR. Especially with Redknapp there. Cunt that he is.
-
Really gutted. Never say never though. Don't think we're that organised when it comes to back-up options, so it'll be Remy or nee fucker.
-
It's quite simple IMO. We won't match their contract offer. Remains to be seen if he's all about the money. Aye.
-
Holding out that SSN know nowt. This'll be resolved one way or the other tonight imo.
-
Hope that is all it is. Can't see why Remy would have turned down the chance to meet them last week otherwise. QPR are a really rotten club. Mutton dressed as lamb.
-
This. We must have one of the smallest cohorts of coaching staff in the league.

Why am I still expecting this to fall through?

Good job. I'm guessing there are some pretty tough kids/dads down in Saafend. Used to play the odd game out East - although the areas closer to London are much tougher. Funnily enough its not too bad, as soon as you go toward Basildon though. The kids are fine but the parents are just mental. It's the same in Grays. Used to do a bit of coaching there a few years ago.

Lee Ryder @lee_ryder Arrival of Remy would provide #nufc with big boost but they still need a couple more in Thanks for that, Lee.

Looking at some of shite in the Liverpool side, fair play to Rodgers for getting them playing decent stuff. Shame the same can't be said of our lot.

Shola should be nowhere near the starting 11.

Great post. Pardew's philosophy isn't going to change at the push of a button, so irrespective of who is brought I honestly don't think it's going to make difference. At least not immediately.

We'll be fucked without him. Best defender I've been lucky enough to see play for us. To say I'll miss him immensely would be an understatement. We'll not find a replacement as good as he is for many years to come imo.
