  1. I wondered this as well, perhaps there were scouts in the crowd watching Smith and Duff and N'Zogbia (so they'll all be there next season then after that performance).
  2. lol yeah he was at fault for the goal. Close him down or push up and he does nothing. Thought he might score a goal today... Strange how he's been dropped for weeks because Bruce thinks he's so shite, yet he comes back against Man U. Subtle way of handing them the title without being obvious about it.
  3. Where was Martins? He's not injured according to the "injured list", neither was Geremi.
  4. All this talk about Bruce would "try his hardest" to beat Man U was surely blown out of the water when he decided to play Bramble after dropping him for weeks on end. Twat of the highest order, anyone who thinks he wanted his own team to win was right, except his team is Man U not Wigan.
  5. "PS the whole media coverage of this is nothing short of hysterical. The man had a rant after a defeat and this is the reaction? Madness. The media and some section of fans." The media are totally obsessed with Keegan & Ashley, I see Shiwanatra says the Man City team should bow to him once they've shaken hands with their opponents. I found that gem hidden away somewhere - but can you imagine if that was Ashley? They'd be calling him a madman and a power freak and it would be headline news on the front page. I also wonder if their obsession puts players off (yes I know they can hardly read) - after all Bentley was going on about how pathetic we were the other week wasn't he? And Taylor said the other England players were having a go at him for all the fuss when Allardyce was sacked.
  6. Don't worry, Sam Allardyce will soon have them relegated, or if not him Steve McLaren. Good grief, they have all the money in the world and the choice of manager is between these two. TBF though, both managers are more than capable to getting them to where they want in the next couple of seasons. May be, but the fans will be suffering terminal boredom by then, I can't see three billionaires liking that.

  8. I thought Modric went to Spurs for less cash and they paid less? There's nothing Mort can do if players prefer London.
  9. This is the best bit from the Daily Mail - picture of Keegan and Ashley talking at the Stoke game with caption underneath:- Tension: Ashley looks unimpressed as Keegan talks Priceless.
  10. Well stop worrying then, only last week he was saying Ashley was the perfect owner because he never gave interviews and kept his nose out of Keegan's side of things. Now the papers turn that into "Wha, wha - ASHLEY NEVER SPEAKS TO ME!!!!!!!! For fuck's sake.
  11. Strange how no journalist in the world (especially wheyse keys) has picked up on the fact that the God who is Keane is about to offload half the players HE bought and cost Sunderland a fortune by paying off their contracts. Why are they all so obsessed with wor Kev?
  12. Last time I saw Tony Adams on telly I thought he was definitely battling with his inner demons, if you get my drift.
  13. Love it ;D ;D  ;D  ;D Aye Alan Smith playing up on his own at the front, with Duff behind him.
  14. Yeh, why else would it have been all over the papers? No doubt he'll sign a new contract with them within the week.
  15. What I'm worried about is - who's leaking the fact we're after him? I'm sure Keegan would prefer it if he wasn't unveiled until it was all signed. If this follows the pattern, he will sign a new contract soon with Man City because they know we're in for him. It wouldn't be Keegan or Wise who's doing it so who is?
  16. I was thinking this morning, if West ham beat the Mancs (not beyond the realms of possibility) and Chelsea beat us, the wrath of Fleet Street will fall down on us like hailstones. Bring it on!
  17. I'm sure they'll be eternally grateful. I wonder how many of our fans wouldn't mind if we lost to Chelsea and perhaps deprive Man U of the title? However I really can't see them dropping points against West Ham, and we all know Steve Bruce would rather Wigan be relegated than his precious Man U draw or lose against Wigan.
  18. Surely he's gone, his non appearances on the bench seem to say that. Deal's probably already done with whoever it is who's having him.
  19. The fact they are in the UEFA Cup and we aren't meant he was possibly never coming here and we were used to get Tottenham to bid more. It isn't the first time (Rooney) and it won't be the last. Keegan has 3 targets for every position, let's have trust in him and the rest to bring what we need.
  20. Or we've been used to raise the price because he wanted to go to London all along?
  21. We couldn't be being used here a la Wayne "I really want to go to Man U but they'll come and buy me if I say I'm going to Newcastle" Rooney? Except substitute Liverpool for Man U? Sorry to put the dampeners on like.
  22. Aye wait for the "Wise signed Modric but Keegan really wanted Henry and knew bugger all about Modric" headlines.
  23. Just shows you should never believe anyting you read on a forum!
  24. Yeh the English referees are usually too chicken to pull them up for it.

Plus KK's not one of the hallowed few that are up his backside and hang on his every word, not like Steve Bruce who was celebrating for Man U when they drew with Chelsea more than he was for his "own" club and received a case of vintage wine from the red nosed one.
