  1. You know what... Ashley was never overtly THAT bad. They've become ridiculous.

    Alexander Isak

Not sure why they would do that but then again they also gave away prime Etoo AND 40m (when it was a lot of money) for Ibrahimovic only to let him go after a season

    Alexander Isak

Assuming they really are broke and don’t have any cash, they could go a long way towards solving our depth problem. Isak for Araujo or Kounde (RCB), Raphina (RW), Frankie de Jong (CM) and Vitor Roque (backup CF). I’d take that deal and then spend the summer budget on a ST and GK.

    Joe Willock

Willock is good enough for depth without ever being able to be first choice. If he's happy with that, he's a good option to keep (injuries notwithstanding). If Joelinton is sold this or next summer, a new purple CM would make us fearsome. Not sure whether an enforcer type (to give us power) or a passer/creative type or an all-rounder like Big Joe however. A DM type like a Kante could be useful because Bruno RCM and Tonali LCM could also be very strong indeed.
  5. I’d keep him as a wise old head 3rd choice on lower wages but he’s got an ego and would back himself to be a starter. Can’t see him wanting that. West Ham would genuinely be a good shout for him. He is a handful but doesn’t perhaps push Isak the way he did last year or year before.
  6. But if we get CL is Wilson robust enough to take enough of the burden
  7. If Wilson can be the Wood 3rd choice type player and is willing to accept that role you can’t get anyone better for that. Experienced, good finisher and can still do a job against tired legs. He is settled so might be willing to accept that role

    Emil Krafth

    Ole Sodeberg says hi 👋
  9. Can definitely tell the difference between him and Hall tho, he is just solid and dependable whereas Hall really does have much more in his locker. Targett is a good defensive LB though to bring on to close games down

    Will Osula

More dangerous as a RW, as a ST all of his performances haven’t really worked. Even his Bromley goal was from the RW

    Will Osula

Potentially the chaos off the bench a Minteh would have brought this season
  12. Who needs a RW? we have our purple Murphy replacement
  13. Yeah does make sense esp if he supported them growing up would have been ideal for our version of the 4-4-1-1 with King and Wilson at Bournemouth but was never going to replace Isak and we play 4-3-3 Unless for PSR we sell Isak for 150m and bring David in on a free which would also be a genius business move albeit a heartbreaking one
  14. I actually think the opposite - we always beat Spurs so in a one-off final I bet they'd probably win Which is why with Liverpool we never beat them in the league, so as a one-off, we defo have more of a chance
  15. Need Jota, Salah and Nunez not to play as they always seem to score against us.
  16. Liverpool played their kids in the final last year, was that because of injuries or is that how they’re treating this tournament? I wouldn’t want to face spurs because “Ange always wins something in second year…”

    Alexander Isak

Where he could go; Barca (Lewandowski is old) Bayern (if Kane leaves) Liverpool (if Nunez and Salah goes) PSG (they could certainly afford it but not sure at this stage of career) Chelsea (they definitely could / would throw money at him but they've lost the prestige of the past) Al-Hilal or one of the PIF clubs (if they threw £200m at it and wanted to make a statement) Where he will go: Nowhere - he'll sign a new contract if we get CL Where he defo won't go: Arsenal they do not have the budget and not far ahead enough to be worth it. Man City have Haaland Real Madrid - they have Vini, Mbappe etc - can't see it Tottenham do have the budget and a big stadium - can't see Levy rubber stamping it and also they're currently a step down Villa Any of the Italian clubs due to budgets (otherwise I could see have seen him once upon a time at an Inter or Juve)
  18. Burn felt his knee at one point Would defo give him a rest Pope Tino, Krafth and Schar, Targett Longstaff Bruno Miley Osula Wilson Willock Seems like the best starting XI - potentially swap Tino for Trippier as he hasn't played that much to be fair, he could go again. Keep bench options - bring Isak, Gordon, Tonali, Hall and Murphy on at some point in the game. Murphy for Wilson on the 55 min mark Osula for Isak at 80 mins perhaps Gordon for Willock at 73 mins Hall for Miley if needed Could do with Barnes and Lascelles coming back soon - bench really is getting light.

Miley it’s your time to shine
  20. This is probably our Mbuemo alternative as we have been linked before
