What if it was modern day Brian Robson or Laudrup
-
We've had Isak, Ben Arfa, Ginola and Asprilla who fit into that box. Shearer too.
-
We need to sign Kang-in Lee to have our own South Korean tourists
-
He would've received the Hall treatment this year. We would be fuming why isn't he playing etc Then next season he would be Saka v2
-
We would need to invest in January to stand any chance. RW / Backup ST / RCB / GK are needed Now Botman is back perhaps could push RCB until the summer. If Dubravka goes, then GK might need to come in, depends how good Vlach is. Backup ST - Wilson cannot be relied on. RW - Dibling seems like the one - but not available until summer. Mbuemo honestly makes so much sense - one extra player, two extra roles filled but it will galvanise and support the team to make that extra push
-
I think Mbuemo knows he’s ready for the next level now Bournemouth have a very good team and Semenyo is a big part of it. Can see him sticking around for a bit Mbuemo would be a guaranteed hit. Worth the Guehi money. No nonsense just get the finished product. Would be buying him at peak value though which Mitchell doesn’t really do
-
Honestly get both Mbuemo and Dibling fluid front three get the SS role sorted at the same time Gordon Isak Mbuemo Barnes Mbuemo Dibling Isak Mbuemo Dibling etc
-
Trippier should have come on for Murphy, his calm experience and crossing could have been useful while defending and on the break
-
It probably would have been easier against Fraser Forster Austin was actually pretty decent with his feet
-
I’d sign both and get rid of lascelles
-
Someone on the Man U forum on the forest thread was waxing lyrical about Anderson saying they need a CM like that
-
Agreed Isak was legit known about as a huge up and coming talent and had some decent seasons behind him already I didn't think oh we'd overpaid, was happy with the deal Hojlund at 72m is overpaying - only one good season, not much of a reputation beforehand Since PIF came in, the only overpaying we've done on a player is Wood at the release clause but that was necessary. Everyone else has been very well thought out and reasonable - even young talents like Tino and Hall
-
You might be right - I cant remember tbh
-
Would bring in Barnes for Gordon or Murphy Tino for Trippier Reluctant to make any more changes tbh.
-
Is a flat track bully, will do well against bottom 6 contenders but struggles otherwise Is very good for depth but should not be starting RW - definitely need an upgrade this window
-
Yes Liverpool and West Ham both decided against With West Ham's choice of managers, hardly a ringing endorsement
-
This one is great - except Solano under Roeder was old and slow by that point. I would put Ben Arfa on the RW and ASM on the left - and then for supersub you could have Martins (or even Solano) for Roeder. Would also go with Batty under Dalglish over Hamann - he got PFA team of the year in 1998 when we finished 13th (as well as the year before)!
-
The Hughton version of HBA was better than the Pardew version (in theory) - because it was pre-leg break.
-
The whole Arsenal thing is annoying because it's just because he's a Henry regen he's being linked. As if Arsenal have all future dibs on Henry like players because he played for them once. Does that mean all Shearer regens should play for us? Why hasn't Evan Ferguson been linked with us every week?

Whoops just swapped Dyer and Woodgate in that case
