The lack of control over our midfield, particularly later second half and ET, was with him slap in the middle of it. Maybe my standards are higher than some others but when we needed someone to grab it by the scruff of the neck, he didn't do it, not for the first time lately either.

Did nowt for me, today. Again.
-
That's just it, he should have knocked it into the Milburn stand.
-
The first home game earlier this season we deserved to get something from, they basically scored their only good chance and then we couldn't break them down. Today though, we made them look good due to our inability to exert any control whatsoever and that's really frustrating.

Powers are fading by the day, sadly.

Fucking rubbish again. Gives away the ball in simple situations constantly.
-
Anonymous again. Thanks for some brilliant years but he needs pensioning off in June.
-
Some good saves but a shit, indecisive pass that eventually lead to their winner which apparently he's meant to be brilliant at.
-
We can't control home games frequently enough and I don't think he knows the solution. I really hope he can find it.
-
There's Dubravka's brilliant passing range that everyone is pissing their pants about.
-
Gomez fouls Tonali on the breakaway and then minutes later kicks the ball away despite it being out of touch - neither a yellow according to that fucking cunt Taylor. Hope someone decks him when he's out and about after he ignored the Yates elbow on Tino at Forest too the utter wanker.
-
Absolute fucking tit. No sympathy.
-
Gordon. Entirely his own fault.
-
Absolute fucking moron, Anthony. Get fucked.
-
Same as last weekend's second half, this. Absolutely desperate to throw the game away, slack as fuck.
-
Murphy has been fucking crap these last three games, absolutely pathetic. Like a Sunday morning player with a bad hangover.
-
Wake up Bruno please.
-
He was shite, spent most of the game drifting offside. You could see Willock on at least two occasions losing his rag as he wanted to play a ball through but had to delay it and eventually lose it because CW was clearly beyond the last man. It would be so typical if two years after our last cup final, we had to go into another one with a chronically out of sorts Wilson leading the line. Say your prayers that Isak is healthy for it.

I mean, I'd have retained Miley in the midfield and people will debate Pope or Dubravka, but it wouldn't have made any difference to the result. I also think he waited too long to make subs but I don't think making them at 1-0 would have changed the outcome either. We were never winning that game without Isak, whether it was Eddie Howe, Eddie the Eagle Edwards or Pep Guardiola in the dugout. For that reason I don't see it worth being critical tonight.
-
Needs to start again on Sunday, he didn't deserve to be left out tonight.
-
Got some things right and some things wrong tonight but it's not even worth going over, it's Anfield, we never win there, we can just be grateful that it's over with for another year. Brighton and West Ham much more important games.

He's not a player who tends to turn up against the bigger teams, sadly. I think his lack of pace is why he won't ever play for a truly elite team, as excellent as he is a player. Even his goal record suggests it, clincher v Arsenal in his first few months aside it reads like that of a flat track bully. Doesn't help that he plays virtually every minute of every game either, always seems to look tired as the season approaches it's end.
-
Fuck off Attwell you prick, he wins the ball clearly.

Our best player so far, again. He's class.
