  1. I think he was just celebrating the fact he'd stayed onside for once.

    Alexander Isak

The gulf between him and Wilson is absolutely mental. To think 18 months ago or so Wilson was starting ahead of him.
  3. Need to score that Callum. Shite.
  4. Schar's been one of our best ever value signings and I love him, but his powers are fading more rapidly by the week. Really hope he's not starting every week next season or we're bang in trouble. Same goes for Burn tbh as well as he's done. Their lack of pace is killing us some weeks.
  5. Wilson drifting offside like a Sunday morning player is driving me mad. If we have to go into another final with him starting up top it's concrete proof that the club is cursed.
  6. Willock remembering he's not feeding Isak there.

They'll have ours parsnipped by half 10 though that's the difference. Talk big and then hide it before they get in any bother.

    Dogawful Officiating

Just bumping this as I'm sure we'll need it in about an hour's time.
  9. I love the idea of Luke Shaw tearing into a Big John sized Chinese on one table whilst Amorim sits with his tin of Heinz Tomato and cheese butty on the next

I think Eddie will have wanted experience on given the slightly precarious game state. Ironically he then proceeded to do what you'd expect an inexperienced player to do, twice, by trying to score rather than the simple square pass
  11. Really wish he'd stop trying to buy fouls so often, he is good at it usually but there were quite a few occasions he did it today and the ref just wasn't having it, probably due to the frequency of him hoying himself to the floor.
  12. It's Anfield. Lose. Hopefully we can at least score, protect the GD and play well. Even if we deserve to win we'll get done by the ref anyway here.
  13. No, fair, I forgot about the Schar chance. The feeling of me and everyone around me at 4-2 was that another Forest goal was coming and it was "when not if" and there was a massive sigh of relief when for once, the added time on seemed to be vastly undercooked when we needed it to be. Ultimately it's a good sign that we can all be asking questions about 2/3 of the 90 today and that we've walked off with 3 points and we can be confident that Eddie will use it as a lesson for the team to ensure we don't fritter away a big advantage like that again.

    Lewis Miley

He lost it cheaply a couple of times early doors but after the goal (lovely take it easy too) he was great I thought, seemed to really settle into it.
  15. I'm sort of in agreement with you, but that second half was the absolute pits to a level where we'd have deserved the sting in the tail had it arrived. They created a bunch of good chances and controlled the whole thing. Other than greedy CW fucking up those two counters in time added on, we created absolutely nowt at all second half and couldn't string three passes together.
  16. Was one of the strangest games I've attended ever, that. Sloppy individual mistake from Murphy and sus positioning from Pope for the opener. Immediately I start to worry that we're usually pretty shit at chasing a home deficit... then we play some fantastic stuff and saunter in 4-1 at the break. Then, the second half was honestly like something from the Bruce era (okay, maybe not that bad, but it followed the same kind of pattern) - absolutely no control over the midfield, non-existant as an attacking force and slack in defence. We looked like we were desperate to give the advantage away. The main thing is we got over the line and secured the three points, but I think if there was say 7-8 added minutes rather than 3 we could be sat here lamenting one of the worst collapses in years and with a point only. Miley was good after two early concessions of the ball, Hall had a great game and Isak amongst the goals can't be a bad thing. The main issue for me was Schar and Burn's lack of pace and the fact that their powers are gradually fading. They'll still have excellent games for us on their days but they looked old and clapped out today I thought. We need Botman back and next year someone with some gas in there too. Eddie will be relieved after that and I'm not really sure he "got it wrong" or anything second half - he correctly hooked the abysmal Murphy and introduced Tonali to try grab the midfield battle as I think most would have - there were just simply so many slack touches and passes from our lads it was ridiculous. We'll need to be sharper at Anfield to avoid a bad result as a top team would absolutely leather us in that shoe-gazing, limp second half. Basically, we got away with one and as much as we've had some poor home results that we didn't deserve (Brighton springs to mind), we had the other side of that coin today which is nice.
  17. Shit cameo that. Two easy square passes and he tries to shoot both times.

Now they think Le Fee might be out for the season he's shite and won't be a miss according to the thread on the groomers
  19. That's a fucking joke. Corrupt, shit officials once again. Why the hell should players and managers respect the referees when that's the standard we get? Cunts.
