But Dan Burn is taller so he needs to go back in.
-
Great defending there, all stood stock still whilst he puts it in the net.

Please not Hall right back again Don't understand why Barnes has been sat down either for Jacob bloody Murphy.

We can't go into next season with either of the current two as first choice, it's been one of the most glaring areas where we've been shit this season. Loads of unforced mistakes from Pope and his shit kicking, basically every shot going in when Ramsdale plays and he's rooted to his line, neither can keep a clean sheet for toffee. Don't mind Pope staying as #2 for his final year and making a handful of appearances in cups or whatever but we need a good #1 keeper and it should be top of the list IMO. Probably worth 10-20 extra points based on this season.

He's clearly talking in context of playing deep into 4 top level competitions (and England games thrown in) versus what he's experienced before which won't have been anywhere near as demanding. Anyone tripping over their feet to say he's disregarding the common man and mental health etc must be completely thick or have an agenda against him.

I don't mind influencing a young comedian... you're not a comedian, but I usually credit someone if I use their comedy.

I drew that and I fear it's sadly lost

The defending fucking abject.

I'm in one now after that first half.

Hope Boro win this.

Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

Teams tend to do a week at their training ground before jetting off to training camps so I'd be guessing around 20th. -

Champion that. Hopefully a friendly at the Pinatar Arena too as my folks only live round the corner and La Manga is only down the road. -
Absolutely staggered by that squad the more I look at it You'd imagine if there's a couple of injuries we'll see Benson and Hedges called up.

Hope he stays and I hope we recruit a young 19-22 year old CB this summer who can learn off him this coming season whilst he provides valuable cover.

Really strange that the best performing English player we've got is the one not going. I didn't like him being dropped, thought it was harsh, but the ends justified the means (Burn scoring in a win v Brighton) and Hall was restored to the side the week after and to left back the week after that. There's no way Tuchel has made the decision just based on three games, to suggest it's Eddie's fault is mental. It's Tuchel's fault for choosing not to select one of the best young English players in the land who's played really well for most of the season.

Oh watch out Pardo, watch out Pardo, but that's the snidey press.

He's performing okay but I want him to perform much better.

Suspect Burn is going for his leadership capability and probably won't play unless it's a dead rubber or he's coming on late to shore up and win headers when we sit deep. Livramento though, and Djed Spence, but not Hall, is absolute insanity. Don't understand it one iota. I know they can both cover both sides but they're both in crap form and haven't played much.
-
Tommy Toucher absolutely lost the plot.
-
Can only assume it's because he can cover both fullback positions in the way Trippier used to, rather than because he's been in particularly sparkling form or fitness.
-
Foden being left out is the right call, he's always done absolutely nowt in an England shirt and he doesn't even start for City these days.
-
Mental to think he's being called a flop by some and the "eye test" has shown plenty of struggles for sure, but if he starts and scores at Fulham on Sunday he'll be 12/36, a goal every three games which isn't shabby at all for a striker. Then you consider a handful of those 36 were in midfield, it's not a bad return at all.
