  1. While we're at it we should get this bloke from the Italy set up who looks like he's wearing one of those joke shop glasses, nose and moustache sets.
  2. Bloody hell. Great for Boro potentially mind.
  3. I think we've got enough to be getting on with transfer-wise without flogging Osula, so unless we get a genuinely mental bid, like £70m+ for instance, I'd keep. Feels like the hard work is starting to bear fruit after two years good work behind the scenes. We've got Ramsdale, Krafth, Tripps and probably Gordon, Tonali and Tino to replace before we even think about trading up Willock, Wissa, Woltemade, Pope, Elanga, both the Murphys... Osula would be right down my list to sell.
  4. Feels like if Burnley had an ounce of quality there could be a goal for them.
  5. Putting out his bin Got his head kicked in Super Alan Baaaaaaarnes
  6. Urgh. Thanks for trying Burnley.
  7. "It's a chicken and egg one this" Fuck off Neville.
  8. Dodgy pen incoming, you watch.
  9. I'll be watching but soon as Arsenal take the lead I'll be switching off. So I'll probably have the Playstation on by ten past eight.
  10. He's probably really good at signing his own name seeing as he's spent a whole season making things look better than they are with pens...
  11. Seems a nice bloke and has been good around the place, but as a Premier League goalkeeper he's about as much use as a one-legged man in an arse kicking contest.

    Jacob Ramsey

I'm convinced we'll look at that £42m fee this time next season and think it good value. You can see he's a good player, when there's other people who can use the ball and good movement around him like yesterday it highlights how important he can be. The pass to Barnes at Forest & the one to Osula for his first yesterday look like simple enough balls but they're perfectly weighted and timed. Bruno is a magnificent player for example but I can think of dozens of times he's gone to make that particular kind of slide rule pass and made an arse of it. Just need him to stay fit and get an extended run in the side. I really hope we see Joelinton phased out a bit next year because we just don't need him in there for games when we're expected to take the initiative and Ramsey coming in for him elevates our game with the ball hugely.
  13. Ultimately, if he's told the manager he wants away at the end of the season and having witnessed how much damage the Isak saga did, thought it better to try and fix that up as early as possible once we secured safety, I'll not hate on him for his exit so much. It's not great asking to leave before the season is over but there's a World Cup in there and if it means we can do the deal early, then fine. Plus, him being sat down means Osula has had a run to establish himself and we've probably played better since he came out of the side. Trippier leaves as a legend, Krafth leaves as a great pro who'll be remembered fondly, Gordon will leave as a player who had a good season and the odd good game after that. Particularly if he goes abroad I don't think he'll be massively hated on when he leaves, but I couldn't imagine him getting a warm welcome should he return to play at SJP again. Probably some low level booing.
  14. Club doctor Paul Catterson confirmed as away at the end of the season by Eddie in his post game presser. U23 keeper Max Thompson also name checked as leaving.

    Joe Willock

Thought he had a dodgy first ten minutes then after he robbed their lad and laid on the goal he did well. The thing with Bruno, players will argue and it's not worth making anything of it I don't think. Bruno could have been passed to but it was hardly a super obvious glaring option and Willock's pot shot won us a corner anyway, so don't understand it from either party tbh.
  16. Another fine cameo from our hero.
  17. Much better today for most of it, well done to him for selecting the 4-2-3-1 and crucially a more footballing personnel. You could say that the opposition were really shit (they were) but that's not stopped us losing points this season so have to be positive about it. The second goal was one of the best passing moves we've put together this season. Also very pleasing to see us go for the second goal soon after the first and not just retreat into a mess. And we did largely defend well today, that West Ham goal is a goal of the season contender out of absolutely nothing and makes me feel like this season is just cursed against us even when we win we deserved the clean sheet and didn't get it. Still plenty of sloppy heart attack moments second half but thankfully we had done enough at the other end and had a poor opponent not truly capitalising. We've got to keep Osula, you can see two years of hard work that's gone into his game starting to bear fruit now. He's still a little raw but he's really refined his movement and is an absolute handful. He'll still have off games but will get goals if given some service. Burn and Joelinton out for Ramsey and Trippier made such a difference to our possession capability and attacking prowess. I get the feeling Joe would have started if fit, but credit to him for sitting down Burn. I just hope he learns that in this kind of game (home against a poorer side) Joelinton doesn't need to start. I'd want him in against the top five or six to help us spoil and in some of the trickier away games, but Ramsey's passing between the lines elevated us so much today and I hope he isn't left on the bench so much next season. Definitely not a co-incidence that we were better with the ball by not including the worst three of our four regulation wide players either. Got to hope that with some key squad changes, a summer to work on some attacking patterns and a bit of a rest, the manager and players can come back next year and deliver more performances like today.

    Nick Woltemade

Best game he's had in ages and subbed early, don't get it.
  19. What the fuck was Thiaw doing there? Wake the fuck up FFS.
  20. I think Pope is shite too but surely we can't blame him for that
  21. Might have known we'd not keep a clean sheet, what a fucking hit that is
