  1. "And over goes Cabaye to take the corner... oh and he's ran into Shunt and Sir Killalot in the CPZ!!"

Would be pleased if we got this fella but I hold virtually no hope that we will. He sounds too good for us to get.
  3. Yesterday went reasonably well. Got 9/4 for a red card in the France vs Honduras game, pretty much printing money that one. Surprised the bookies didn't lower the price after most people watched Honduras be dirty and cheaty as fuck against England. Whilst I had a fair few losers I had Benzema in a France win and also Argentina/BTTS which made yesterday my second best day of the tournament so far. Today's small stakes are: GER v POR Both teams to score in both halves 20/1 Mertesacker 1-0 scorecast 160/1 Time of first goal 81 mins or later 25/1 NGA v IRA Nigeria to win and under 2.5 goals 9/4 Nigeria to have 10 or more corners 20/1 GHA v USA Ghana to win 2-1 10/1 Both teams to score in both halves 28/1 Also an accumulator: Germany, Iran/Nigeria draw, Ghana at about 14/1 or so.
  4. De Rossi and Balotelli to get booked is 13/2 with Sky. Class if you ask me. Both teams to score in both halves is 28/1 too. Unlikely but a good price for a small bet.
  5. No joy yesterday Colombia to win both halves @ 5/1 Godin to score in a Uruguay win @ 13/2 England vs Italy to be a draw @ 2/1 Honda to score in a Japtastic win @ 9/2 All £2.50 singles again.
  6. £30 up after the first match so playing it fairly safe today. Correct score: Mexico 1-1 Cameroon, £2 stake at 9/2 Spain to win from behind, £2 stake at 12/1 HT Draw, FT Chile, £2 stake at 11/4
  7. Croatia got mugged off by the officials massively tonight. The foul given on Cesar was utter bullshit and a totally legit challenge, and obviously the penalty was soft as fuck too.
  8. Brazil to score a penalty in the opening game at 6/1 is pretty decent IMO. Put my free £5 bet on that.
  9. Neither Dummett or Haidara are anywhere near ready to be a first choice Premier League left-back. Selling Santon would be a barking mad move, but exactly the sort of money-motivated shit this current regime might try.
  10. Fucking hell, Haidara as first choice left-back and keeping Taylor ahead of Yanga-Mbiwa. If Haidara and Taylor make 20+ starts each next season, I would pretty much guarantee us finishing in the bottom six.
  11. Sounds a bit like Didi Hamann joining Bolton and then moving to Man City for £300,000 a few days later.
  12. People using the opportunity of us signing Colback to point out the flaws with Anita. Count your fucking blessings lads.
  13. Surprised they didn't use #WearsideJack

    Shola Ameobi

He's dropped to 500/1 for top goalscorer.
  15. I've got some money in my PP account and I think I might just throw it all on that. Nigeria and Iran just won't do anything.
  16. Who's that with? 8/11 for Argie/Bosnia dual forecast with Hills. 10/11 with Skybet.
  17. I honestly can't believe it's almost evens for Argentina and Bosnia to be the top two ahead of Nigeria and Iran. Anyone with deeper pockets than me should be all over that.
  18. Varying low-to-middling stakes on the following: Germany to win the World Cup 6/1 Lukaku top goalscorer 22/1 Fred top goalscorer 20/1 Hazard to win Golden Ball 25/1 Greece to be tournament lowest scorers 14/1 Group H: Belgium 1st, Algeria 2nd 8/1 Group winners: Brazil, Spain, Colombia, Uruguay, Switzerland, Argentina, Germany, Belgium 135/1 To qualify: Uruguay, Switzerland, Portugal, Holland, Bosnia 9/1 Group dual forecast accumulator: Germany/Portugal, Spain/Holland, Switzerland/France, Argentina/Bosnia 14/1 There's some cracking value in the group dual forecasts. If I break down that last bet; Spain and Holland to be top two is 11/10, ditto Switzerland and France, 10/11 for the Argies and Bosnia and 8/11 for Germany and Portugal. Now, on with my match betting.
  19. Where's best for me to make my deposits for the World Cup? I have Betfred, Skybet, Paddy Power and Ladbrokes.
  20. What's Hart got in his hands behind his back? Is he about to advertise another bathroom product? Toothpaste, or maybe a tampon...
  21. Get the feeling Rickie will score here.
  22. Welbeck and Gerrard do hold this side back a bit, like. That said, Gerrard's experience in midfield might be useful against better sides than this lot. He shouldn't start the Costa Rica game.
