So as I was saying last week, Palace may be without Europe. There are questions over them being allowed in the Europa League because Textor also owns Lyon who are in the Europa League. Apparently he has missed a UEFA deadline to transfer ownership or put ownership of 1 club into a trust like state which would allow both teams to compete in the Europa League. To complicate matters, Palace can’t drop down to the Conference League (thus giving Nottingham Forest their Europa League place spot) because another Palace co-owner owns Brondby who are certain to qualify for that tournament. So as it stands it looks like the only way Palace play in Europe next year is if Textor gets Lyon to drop into Conference League. If that doesn’t happen, then Palace would likely be forced to concede their European position, which would result in Nottingham Forest being upgraded to a Europa League slot, and Brighton of all clubs being given the Conference League slot.

The time to buy him was a few years ago. I’ve always thought that ultimately he’s now going to be too expensive for us, and quite likely we are being used to snuff out the likes of Man Utd who will throw £200k per week contract at him. I’ve banged on about it for quite a bit and a couple of years now, but I think Kubo would be perfect for us, and would likely cost a lot less.

As soon as he goes on a rough patch he’ll be under massive pressure. It’s better for them to just sack him now really.

They were attacking women with children who just happened to be in town, like proper attacking them. It also has then additional effect of keeping the good players out of reach of the clubs they want to hold back, and only selling them to those clubs when they know they either have better players at their club, or they are no good. All the teams will be doing the same, how often has it been said that such and such came through the academy of ‘insert top club here’ only to find out that they bought him a few years back from the academy of ‘insert lesser club here’ before they reach the age of when the expense to buy them hits your PSR. If they call Chelsea out on it, they will call themselves out on it.
