    Joelinton

An absolute work horse and machine in terms of winning the ball and shielding the ball He makes maintaining/winning possession and keeping us ticking when he has the ball look so easy One of the earliest and possibly first true positive signs of this season has been this revelation in his form in this new role Big Joe - I salute you.
  2. Beat Villa and I think we'll go on a run of decent form to see us through
  3. Burnley friend of mine isn't/wasn't bothered when they lost him He'll come good - score a few then probably see him on the bench/on loan next year if we stay up. Having said that his headers on goal so far have been bad (debut game and yesterday) and that was, as mentioned by others already, exactly the sort of thing you'd have expected him to be good at. The longer he goes on without a goal though the more I think fuck me may as well have kept Carroll.
  4. Seeing Willock improving and getting closer to what we saw last year is for me more important to be built upon than starting with Shelvey End of the day it solely depends on what role EH wants Bruno to bring and that'll ultimately decide who gets dropped
  5. Willock is starting to look like his old self. Had a good game against Leeds and another solid showing today, he won a lot of balls from them and was lively in attack Shelvey has to be the one dropped
  6. My ex was scouse, her Dad an Evertonian, he was a racist bastard. Beating Everton is always sweet for me. Good luck rest of the season. I'm sure you're alright #CoolStoryBro
  7. I wouldn't bring Bruno on, can see those blue shithouses try and injure him Keep him for Villa

    Kieran Trippier

Class above every fucker on the pitch for what he offers as a player of his position and as a personality on the pitch What a fucking guy
  9. There is no excusing that miss like Tall physical striker unmarked with plenty of space to aim the header at. Same thing in his debut game too close and heads up off. Snap out of it man
  10. That was bad, seriously how can you not muster something convincing unmarked from that far Looking a dud so far
  11. Unpopular opinion - do I like him as a person, no. Do I hate him as some people do here, also no because we've had way worse than him Yes we can talk about all the horrendous shit under him and I'm not even going to say the 5th placed finish season rests on his shoulder because it was clearly a bunch of amazing Carr finds that just worked together perfectly on the pitch. I hate the fact he replaced Hughton, a humble gent who played a massive part in turning the club around. Kinnear, McClaren and Carver are worse than this cunt for me.
  12. or it could also be next to no points if our new defence isn't an immediate improvement
  13. He'll score some goals, but not expecting him to be any kind of saviour I think he'll probably end up with 4-5 or so until end of the season

    Sunderland

I wouldnt even watch another "Sunderland til I Die" I don't even find their plight funny anymore, it's just sad and irrelevant to me. I'll crack up it they don't make it out of League 1 this year for a bit and get on with my life within a minute. They'll probably be making "Rafa Beneath Us" banners.

    Sunderland

I work in Sunderland, I find it hilarious how they know the ins and outs of what's going on with us whilst I cannot name you a single player from their squad the last few years Newsflash: Nobody, absolutely nobody gives two shits about League 1.

    Matt Targett

Some real 'Son I am disappoint' vibes going on there.
  17. Yikes - League Two?! That is some drop, practically pub football
  18. I hope Willock finds some form again second half of this season now that we have added Bruno
  19. 6 - there is still room for Wood to get his shit together before Wilson comes back Our biggest issue is holding onto a lead - I hope with the additions in defence we are now in a better position to do so.
  20. This guy is Championship quality - one decent game hasn't changed my opinion and the sort that we used to look to buy in the hopes of selling for a profit in the Ashley era, a model that we have become less effective at year by year under him.
  21. Surely have to try for PEA now..
  22. They've probably mentioned us and Everton because of our money if anything
  23. I think they will to be honest, if they waited for a year to get the purchase finalised then I can see them sticking around to get the club back up again and going once promoted. I had concerns over the "saving face" sociological aspect of Saudi culture once Masters and the EPL fuckers were twating around and PIF withdrew so I could not see the actual sale happening a year later, they did stick with it so I can definitely see them sticking with the project beyond whatever happens and having them treating the players and the staff with such a warm welcome is reassuring. However, I remain to be entirely convinced about their approach this month, its all well and good you want to play it smart and not be taken advantage of by overpaying but then when we go down because we didn't spend an extra 10 million once or twice in important positions then that doesn't look very smart at all. Lets see what the next few days bring. Personally, I have always thought of Saudi as a country with money but not ability to execute (no pun intended) vision/possess intelligence akin to UAE or Qatar (the fact that Qatar more or less found a way to thrive perfectly fine during the political tensions with Saudi Arabia last few years, as Saudi tried to ostracise them, should tell you something). This can change though and NUFC can be part of that change, I hope. Look up MBS - Saudi Vision 2030.
