The thing is Darlow hasn't exactly done okay this season either so no excuse him starting today.

There's loads of "great escape" potential in this lads at this early stage with a transfer window ahead and amount of time to bring in someone competent and effective enough for this league If the owners are half as wise as they're rich they will get the personnel required to save this to the very least finish 17th Not full blown panicking yet

I'd take 17th right now. There is no reason for us to not be able to finish at the very least there. January and the manager we bring in will be the difference.

If after today it isn't clear to everyone that he isn't the issue then I don't know what is. I say this despite disagreeing with his starting line up today. I'd be happy to see him stay here as he has experience working with top quality players in the highest level possible. We need a new manager and some Premier League quality players in and quick, as well as totally different game plan. Others have changed, we haven't.

I wouldn't mind him seeing it until the end of the season if he does okay and keeps us up. Far more appealing for a lot of managers to take a project with a preseason and full summer transfer window - options available might be better than now as well.
