  1. Maresca’s such a fucking fraud

Think that’s a good sign, they’re clearly bonding over it and pulling together, think it’ll play in our favour in terms of squad unity
  3. I don’t want to see us chanting about Isak on Monday, not because I think it’ll affect things in any way. I just think all our focus needs to be on our team that wants to play for us and when we’re out of possession we focus on Liverpool. Happy to join in chants about isak after the match
  4. How much longer can this silence go on? It’s so bizarre. Everyone at the club needs clarity on what’s going on here. We keep being briefed internally via Edwards that he’s staying. Then briefed externally by the vultures on social media that he’s going. I wonder what the squad are thinking about how we’re going to set up this season. It has massive implications for multiple players whether he stays or not, given that incomings are looking unlikely / maximum one in I’d say
  5. If he continues it past this window then his career is in flames. He becomes a pariah, if he isn’t one already. I’d say he potentially becomes too toxic for a lot of the top clubs to go after
  6. Johnny come latelies, not giving any benefit of the doubt to the club about how they’ve handled striker negotiations this summer. Targeted players that didn’t want to come and we should have realised this and we should have been onto other targets way quicker before they reached peak value and became harder to prise away. Been an abject failure in that aspect of the market
  7. Grealish won’t lose his ability to buy fouls and to shield the ball well. He’ll also probably enjoy the freedom of actually being able to play rather than having to rigidly stick to what the manager wants. His issues are probably more to do with how motivated he is and how much he enjoys his life out of football. It’ll be demotivating for him to play well individually but see his teammates mess up opportunities that should result in goals. Think he’ll still be their second best player this season but they’re going to really struggle to get above 15th
  8. Both sides have precisely zero quality, Ndiaye aside
  9. Ridiculously harsh, did everything possible to get it out of the way, was in a natural position, almost unnatural how much he’d managed to get it out of the way and it hit an area that was on the fringes of the shoulder
  10. Plays for us, it’s a massive reason why he isn’t lauded more. Isak’s only lauded because you can’t ignore his goalscoring record. Think everyone continually underestimates everything about us: our manager, our potential, our players

Surprised it’s not black and white
  12. Not fair really. He is incredibly hard working and a massive handful for defenders, he’s got pace, really good vision and awareness. He just can take too long on the ball and he’s not a natural finisher. If he can improve on his decision making on the ball he’ll score tons at any club that moves the ball quickly
  13. If Lascelles was up against him in a competitive fixture after Isak leaves the club I’d put money on him going hard at Isak and roughing him up at every opportunity
  14. Anyone not contributing to the atmosphere needs calling out by fans near them. Everyone has to be on it. The pressure to get involved in chants needs to be so strong that even the shittest fans can’t get away with staying quiet
  15. They’ll need him this season. They’ll realise his value when they play games where they have very little possession, ie every game
  16. On Monday next week I hope we get the perfect blend of incredibly supportive backing of our lads and incredibly aggressive barracking of Liverpool and their players. Don’t want to hear a single mention of Isak
  17. Wetherspoons if it’s a boy
  18. I agree with the latter, not the former
  19. Proper backwards year and a half or so for Bailey. Was starting to look like a decent player after a very poor start to his time at Villa but clearly has not progressed
  20. This situation is getting more and more odd. What the fuck is happening in his head?
  21. Would take Jackson above all other options at the moment other than Samu or Woltemade
  22. His main problem is his fitness. He looked outstanding before he came to Chelsea and in occasional moments he looked quality for Chelsea but he’s clearly made of crisp packets and cardboard

Embarrassing carry on, footballers embracing the dickhead image like never before
