Azpilicueta is a very good signing for Chelsea in my opinion. Think he'll develop into one of the best RBs over the next few years
-
The fuss about Marv is that he's a gifted footballer and can be a very good creative threat in a team that doesn't have a lot of creative players. The more games he get, the more he'll improve and influence them. If he stays fit, he'll be a really important player for us

He's certainly got a very good footballing brain which is key. Coupled with that, he's got pace, good touch and can strike a ball well. When you bear in mind his attitude, I think it's fair enough to feel excited about him coming through, especially when you read what a nice lad he is

1-1, Saylor. Howay
-
I doubt he wants to leave over it but it doesn't help anything and is a bad reflection on Newcastle fans no matter how small the group. This, it's unacceptable no matter how big the group is. Absolute bunch of dicks
-
Harsh man, he's slow but good in the air and generally solid if not commanding. He's easily championship and lower PL standard
-
He'll have turned into this by now http://positivetv.tv/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/blob_fish_main.jpg Just no mate, just no

No. think Anita will do more than anyone else to take us away from that style

Ince is likely to be around the 7m mark I reckon. Credit to Swansea in this window, they'll be absolutely fine this season and will no doubt be more penetrating than they were under Todger The atmosphere in the prediction thread didn't seem to be the same before the 5-0 last week. Nah, you're right. For a while I thought they'd struggle but they have Neil Taylor/Vorm/Dyer/Michu's come in and performed straight away and if they get Ince, he's an exciting prospect on the wing. (Routledge even had a good PL game the other day). During June, I thought they'd struggle because they'd try to play the same way as last season but teams have found them out now. I think they've improved their squad though and have a few more direct players now

Was their complaint that they haven't lodged a bid in excess of 40m?

You should have photoshopped a green monster in a toon top onto the image

Think sewelly posted something earlier saying he could be out for a month at the most. don't think it was confirmed or anything though

Aye, August is always an absolute nightmare for bickering. I can't stand getting involved in stupid arguments online but August and the close of the transfer window can definitely bring it out
-
Reading the first line i thought it was Sir Ricky I hope Sir Ricky is actually Ashley. That would be the one thing that could make me actually like him
-
Leonardo is such a fucking bell like
-
From what I've seen of Damiao, he seems a fairly complete forward. Physical, powerful, good in the air, decent shot. Think he'd be a very good PL signing
-
£12m is a decent price in my opinion but don't want him back
-
He really is like, he's not done a single thing to endear me to him in all his time at the club. On the contrary, almost everything he does paints him as a cunt
-
Seriously? You're saying that 17 year olds HAVE to 'press on' and break into the first team? That's a dreadful approach to youth development. "Ahh, you're 18 and not played for the first team...sorry, you're not going to make it" I'm not of the opinion that you have to make it as a seventeen year old but if he's going to be successful here then pressing on at a young age is very important. We just let go loads of youth this last summer, what I'm saying is, he needed to make a big improvement. Going from a couple of reserve starts to being included in the EL squad is that improvement. He strikes me as the kind of lad who will take a lot of confidence from this and as I say, hopefully push on and develop

Chelsea, has there been a 'luckier' team this past decade?

Anyone listening to Phil brown talking about telepathy in bburn - hull? The guy is the absolute pits

Probably Ray Stubbs s*** stirring again. Used to be a fan of Stubbs when he was on BBC and did random shite. Turns out he's a pathetic wanker when it comes to football. Loves to talk up nothing incidents like shot journalists do
-
He's travelled so that's hopefully a good sign. Want to see him start tomorrow and control the game going forwards
