Eh? I generally think far too many handballs are given but the problem with this one is that the ball can’t loop in that way if it hits his stomach which is where it’s going. Instead, it hits his arms and he also gestures them outwards which helps the ball to loop up

There’s no way the ball can end up going in that direction without his hands forcing it that way. If it had hit his body it would have either gone straight forwards or down, not up. Absolutely terrible decision

If he does go, you have to think that a decent part of it will be motivated by regret at a missed opportunity here. He clearly wants to succeed in the premier league and he’s probably not in line for a top four club. The kind of clubs he could have gone to would have been us or Leicester, and now West Ham or Villa but the best opportunity by a mile out of those was us. Hopefully he goes to Villa and takes some points off our rivals like Supertoon says

Did so much work down our right cutting out attacks and setting us free. Not sure why he was on Kane on corners though. Especially after the first one, he was still on him. Would have thought Botman would have been ideal to be on Kane for set pieces
