  1. Sounds like a crap game. Atmosphere flat, no decent chances bar one for them and all a bit sloppy. Lascelles is either having a shocker. Or Ando just hates him he is just making a load of strange noises whenever Lascelles is mentioned. The longer it goes on at 0-0. The more I’d fancy us. We have good options off the bench and they don’t.
  2. Although, Big Joe and ASM are starters in most fans eyes. Plus Targett and Jonjo were probably expected to start by many, before the season started. Strong enough team. I hope!!
  3. Their team looks quite strong. Good few starters in there. But missing their main men and only young’uns on the bench.
  4. Certainly more changes than I was expecting, mind. But still looks decent enough. Wilson just rested, we reckon? Or more than just a cold/the flu last game?
  5. Decent looking team that. Bit of rotation, whilst still keeping quite a few starting players. Targett, Shelvey and ASM were probably pencilled down as starters for a good chunk of fans before the season started.
  6. If there is any truth in his lyrics, then I'm sure he's not a top bloke But CASISDEAD is my favourite 'celebrity' fan.
  7. He is and I’d say TG was bang on about his conversion to Islam being a load of old bollocks. Still, massive own goal from ol Brian with his comments and subsequent ‘apology’.
  8. Fucking hell I don’t think he should get cancelled for what he said about Muslims. But he should get cancelled for that apology
  9. I get that. I do understand what some of these kind of things are getting at. Self-confidence or self-help, performance, positive mentality. They are all a bit like that and I can accept it up to a point that they are going to be a bit cheesy. I just found the two hosts on this really grating, a bit smug and awful to listen to.
  10. He’s such a tosser. I’m surprised that there seems to be plenty of Everton fans that support him and are also blaming the players. Are they just lapping up his bullshit? I don’t watch them enough to know if the players are phoning it in and not putting in the effort. But the few times I have seen them. I thought they looked like a team that grafted and got stuck in. But just lacked any sort of idea of how to build an attack, control a game or even play effectively on the counter. Either way, him just blaming the players every week, the same as Gerrard did. Just seems like a daft thing to be doing.
  11. I listened to it and I found it incredibly cringey. I know these things often are and dossers like me are not their target audience. But for all that Humphrey was always fair about us and supportive of the fans under Ashley. He is a bit awful, IMO. The other bloke that sounds like a character from Two Pints of Lager, was not much better. All felt a bit Ant Middleton. “ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE IF YOU JUST PUT YOUR MIND TO IT.” I did enjoy listening to Edward, for the most part.
  12. This not on TV at all anywhere? Not even abroad? I thought the 3rd round of the League Cup would have a huge global audience
  13. I have often thought Howe would rotate and make changes when we have had 2-3 games in quick succession. But it has never really happened so far. I’d like to see ASM and Joelinton start. Maybe Targett, too. But I don’t expect or want to see loads of changes.
  14. Is Dinho Lad a Top G and a big fan of Andrew Tate? What is this absolute waffle
  15. Aye, it's mad how good he is at using his body to win fouls or hold off the opposition. It's not like he is a big, physical type with his frame. I've said on here before, but he rally does remind me of Fabregas the way he gets his body in between him and the ball and how he always manages to find half a yard of space on the turn.

    Nick Pope

If his kicking was better, I'm not sure he would be playing for us and I doubt he would have been at Burnley for so long. Bit of a cliched saying, similar to if X's end product was better, he wouldn't be playing for us. But I think it applies here. In terms of commanding his area, playing high and sweeping up and his general shot stopping. He is outrageously good and up there with the top keepers in the league. I really like his quick throws and roll outs, anyway. His kicking doesn't piss me off as much as others, it seems. I really rated Krul when he was here in his prime. I feel like his kicking was worse. We have Botman and Schar to do all the fancy stuff back there

    Joe Willock

So pleased he got his goal. Fully deserved and it has been coming. Return of the 'come on you Maggies' and all
  18. Watched the match with a couple of Spurs supporting mates. He was rated on the whole during his time there, I think. But they can't believe how much he has improved. They seemed to suggest he wasn't as effective and influential going forward and he was a lot worse with his one on one defending when he played for them. Weirdly, I still think his defending when he is isolated is still his biggest weakness. But he often seems to start with a bit of a wobble in that regard, then adjusts and just starts to dominate the game. Pulls the strings from right back and seems like a model pro. Special player. Absolutely love him.
  19. I'm guessing Dendoncker and Luiz outnumbering Van de Beek, who was playing as the 10. But that just seems ridiculous typing it out like that. Character limit, or not
  20. Tielemans. Get him added to the list
  21. How has Leno not saved that?! There should be some sort of rule for fouls. Where if you turn your body the wrong way/blatantly cheat because of minimal contact. You get sin binned. Absolute state of that from De Bruyne. For all that in this day and age, that is a penalty. Horrendous.
  22. Billing only deals in bangers, don’t he? Just seen his goal.
  23. He really does remind me of Ivan Drago. More than Haaland, even. Just looks like he was built in a lab/is a real life Terminator.

    Joe Willock

I really like him and he does a lot of stuff that I think goes unnoticed. But as others have mentioned, the game does seem to pass him by at times and he was lazy early on. It was noticeable when everybody else is tearing about the pitch like wild dogs. But Willock is ball watching or jogging towards players to close them down. I'd just been saying he was tossing it off and not putting a shift in. Before he then smashed into someone to win it back, followed 30 seconds later by some mad slight tackle where he seemed to win it with his knee sorry Joe. I shouldn't have doubted you. He offers something different, is deceptively quick and direct and he played a big part in the first and third goals. His style just seems to suggest he is a confidence player and at times, it is like he isn't backing himself or he is wanting too long to make a decision. I found the below interesting:
  25. He's set a ridiculously high bar and rarely has a bad game. I think he was a bit below par for him. Yet he still played well and we won 4-0. Bot bad when your best player can have an 'off' day and we can dominate like that.
