£12m for a Premier League standard left back is a steal! That’s before you consider he’s already a settled member of the first team.

Good luck to him. He’s played a huge part for in getting us to where we are but was one of the major casualties when Rafa left. I don’t think Bruce moving him positions three times per game helped but before his injury he contributed to a lot of the goals we were conceding and it was clear he needed to be moved on. He was colossal for us in the Rafa season back in the PL and looked like he could progress into a better player. I think he’ll do well at Norwich.

It’s not really a tough decision for him between us and Milan. It’s a shame because what clips I’ve seen of him since January he looks really promising.

Was just reading William Saliba wants to remain at Marseille because he doesn’t want to be left out at Arsenal. We’re not linked with him but his stats were really good in France last year and looks a really good ball playing cb. He’s the type of player I’d like us to move for.

If we play even 50% of the level we achieved against Arsenal we’ll beat Burnley comfortably today. On merit they probably deserve to go down too although I’d prefer it was Leeds. I’d like to see Gayle and Richie get some minutes today to get some sort of send off for all they’ve done for the club. I don’t think it’s too much of an exaggeration to say were it not for their goals and assists over the years there wouldn’t have been a club worth buying for Staveley yet both don’t seem to get the recognition for what they’ve done. 0-2 Hope our fans don’t give it too much of a large one to the home fans if they go down. I’m very guilty of this mind but given the injuries they had at the time I think he’d have turned it around once more of them had come back. The left back he signed looks better than Digne in my opinion and once he could play with wingers like they started the season I think they’d have pulled clear much sooner - they certainly wouldn’t have looked as much of a mess. I will however give way to @Neil as someone who watches their club will have a infinitely better idea of what the reality is rather than someone with a passing glance at some of their games. I still think Rafa’s entire career shows he’d have sorted the issues mind if backed - which I guess he wasn’t from any quarter.

I think I’d prefer Leeds to go down despite how funny it would be to watch the Everton meltdown. Sacking Bielsa after he played so much of the season with most of his team out after what he did for them was such a dick move. There’s also an outside chance we’re in for Raphina and he’d be a perfect signing for us. Burnley are absolutely shit though and I’m not seeing them getting themselves any points.

Given that FFP is mentioned a lot and we won’t be spending fortunes like some outlets predicted we might (I prefer it this way tbh) I don’t really want DCL despite quite liking him as a striker. The money it would cost to get him could surely be invested better?

So chuffed for the lads that get on here who’ve gone out of their way to keep us informed how Anderson is doing. I can’t imagine the feeling of being outside of the playoffs to snatching automatic promotion with a 7-0 win on the final day. Drink it all in fellas ?
