Thought he was really impressive in his few cameos earlier in the season, hit the post in one I think and seemed very confident on the ball,always looking to try beat his man. Would like him to get 2 or 3 games in this league to make a true assessment of where he currently is with his ability but we've been so impressive you can see why he hasn't had a look in. Personally I think he would perform better than Murphy over a 5 game period in the league.

Great tackle by Burn there, nice pass into Shelvey who hits a lovely 40 yard ball to maxi who takes on 4 players before just hitting it wide. I'm guessing that's what's happening right now.

Got a feeling it will be one of the bidders who wanted Chelsea. I don't really see Liverpool having "oil club" owners. The whole idea is surely to buy a club a lot lower on the elite level, and then you can make a huge profit once they become elite. At Liverpool can they really make someone a huge profit considering they're already at the top of the elite level? It's a big risk when you can buy a club for much much cheaper and muscle your way in. New owners at Liverpool coming in and getting it wrong, crashing out of Europe, Klopp leaving etc. The value could plummet.

Something about long walks for managers to their seats at stadium's like at Villa and Man Utd that makes me really uncomfortable . When things are going really really bad it must be absolutely awful getting hurled abuse while the rest of the stadium boos. Glad Bruce has had to do the walk of shame at Villa though.

Yeah I think it was the first half when he got bundled over, I thought the one hitting his arm wasn't a pen tbh as he arms were tucked into his body iirc. Would have been harsh getting one for that imo but the other was a definite pen.

Didnt we have a stonewall pen incident that VAR didn't even look at? I remember being in disbelief that it was brushed aside so quickly but I now can't remember who it involved. Think it may have been in the 2nd half?

It's absolute suicide if not done in the correct way though. Player fitness is key. Will be interesting to see how fit we look towards the end of the season as we put so much of a shift in every game. The World Cup break will help massively for us especially I would imagine.

Yeah it'll be a lot harder to scout against their caretaker manager than Emery. If Emery was in charge you know Eddie would be watching every PSG, Arsenal and Villareal game from the last 6 years

I think Dyche meant how expressive we are under Howe. Under Bruce and Rafa there was very little attacking mindset. Limited in players all pushing forward and pushing the opposition back. We liked to counter attack under both of those mangers with obviously mixed results. Under Howe its push high and express flair and attacking mentality even late on in the game. Still like to counter attack but how Dyche was saying its like kids in a sweet shop was quite a good explanation imo, that's why we're seeing the performances from Miggy etc, they just love how things are at the minute and a free to play how they want while at the same time sticking to a very organised game plan. It's so unbelievably good to watch and must be incredible to play considering how they were told to play under previous managers.

There's absolutely no way Emery could have done what Howe has with our squad. Emery seems to be very "I'm the boss and you do what I say" whereas Howe is more of a team mate while still holding authority. Definitely dodged a bullet and his past experience in the League with Arsenal wasn't great at all.
